definitely loved the freebies, now they should make an Entry Grade version of this kit. Its a good contrast to the Nu Gundam
The FF version is in bright red plastic compared to the muted darker red of the regular version.

I kinda wish you got two green effect parts but this is pretty cool. I didn't expect the new parts to be pretty intricate
Well, the price did't gone better it's double of the price for the claws.
I know right ? I would've considered it at ~80$ max, but the mark up at the US Premium Bandai is simply ridiculous, especially considering that the dollar is already strong compared to the Yen.

I ordered mine for just 40 usd lol. I used shoppee since I’m in SEA and thr ff sazabi retails for 60 usd here. However with a 30% off voucher I was able to massively bring down the price 😂. I wouldn’t order this otherwise.
If you know someone who lives in Philippines or malaysia you could ask them to order this for you if they ever go back to your country

Nowadays there's the bootleg large funnels though if you want. Of course it wouldn't beat the precise molding of the bandai stuff but it's more than enough.
You can also try searching on Facebook for resellers. Bandai Srp for it in sea is about 60 usd so use that as a reference point
I was gonna pick up this kit but I personally don’t think if you already have a sazabi this one wouldn’t stand out unless you want the lobster claw weapons. Unlike the SideF Nu Gundam which have a different color scheme to boot and it’s new beam weapon.
This comes with an effect part for the Fukuoka Nu....curse you Bandai marketing...

When one of the designer reccommend something silly out of joke about placing nipper on Sazabi, but Bandai take it seriously as the next p-bandai product.
Do Sazabi’s normal funnels fit into the holes of his new funnels? I feel like that could be a pretty cool kitbash to have him wield giant tonfas that hold his normal funnels

Not directly. There is an adaptor piece that you put over where the funnels are supposed to store in order to put the new weapons on. You still have the old parts so you could just assemble it as a regular Sazabi with extra weapons. Also it was mentioned at 11:23.

@@cosmicaler It's basically the same original RG Sazabi with richer red color+ the crab claws, effect parts, action base, and new decals.

Haven’t built that version of RG Sazabi, but the regular version is in my top 2 or 3 RGs - God, Sazabi, and Hi Nu. I can’t wait for Epyon. Recent RGs have been so much fun to build.

My only issue with HLJ or Buyee are that HLJ at least didn't tell me how much shipping was going to be until after I purchased the Kit. Shipping was more expensive than the kit to the US.
Yeah it is unfortunate, I remember buying some witch from mercury kits and ended up pretty much breaking even when compared to just buying locally
I think the best way to use them is for buying multiple kits cause it ends up being cheaper to buy just one locally
@@yashil1215 That's why buying locally is so expensive - shipping international. HLJ calculates the shipping cost for you during checkout before final purchase, you can use that to compare the final pricing....you can still get good deals on HLJ depending on the shipping.

This version of the sazabi is actually a much richer and vibrant shade of red compared to the regular sazabi, i only noticed when i saw videos comparing the two

Oh yeah some kits on P-Bandai seem reasonable for exclusive kits then others like Sazabi are just through the roof pricing.

@@theholypopechodeii4367 yup and here’s the best part that’s not including shipping so that’s another 15$ I even saw one store had the GM Spartan for 89.99 so I thought I’ll wing it then I put it in the cart it jumped up to 166$ I thought WTF!?? So the tax was heavy and the shipping was 18$ and yeah not just P Bandai but Gundam kits as a whole is expensive Nu Gundam ver ka goes for 120$ not shipping included it’s sad I’ve had people suggest me other places to try but once I mentioned I’m in Canada and the price situation they just go “oh that sucks” kinda makes me annoyed but the states have it easy
Even one store owner told me we get the tail end of stuff we don’t get too much stock maybe 4-5 kits each kit some online ones gets 4x more but your paying a bit more and even if I tried buying from Japan or the states I’ll just end up paying the same or more because of duty fees
I’m the end I have to save a lot to get good kits that I want
Did the mod you made where you cut a piece off the waist to add more of an ab crunch affect its stability over time?
The stickers are for the Nu-Gundam to recreate it being manufactured like the Nu Gundam in the movie. They're the tape covers the joints and the white cover for over the eyes.
I'm happy that someone is about to reproduce the finhorn funnels as a 3d printable kit
At the time of this post, it's still available for pre-order on p-bandai. They've had some pretty nice stuff lately too. The last thing I picked up was the Gundam Fenice Rinascita Alba. Really looking forward to that one, but also sad that I missed out on the MG Tallgeese III.

That p-bandai markup can be a real bitch at times.
Crazy, I got the MG Tallgeese III for just under $65 US dollars a few years ago. But I definitely agree that the P-Bandai markups are inexcusable.

tbh, after building several kits with the kps frames, yes they are easy to clean and grips parts nicely, but since they are quite soft, are also susceptible to shearing stress. the worst kind of plastic to use with C-clips, which what plagues the WFM kits (also the infamous freedom 2.0 hips)

The Sazabi is one of my favorite mobile suits of the franchise and was very happy with both the ver ka mg and rg, this variant is really interesting with those giant lobster claws they look cool looking.
i'm glad i picked this lobster while i was visiting fukuoka along with FF nu, the pbandai markup in the states with shipping is like 50 extra dollars
I'm hoping they release the claws as a separate expansion for the kit since it's a lot just for some new accessories.
Anything below Gundarium for this beast is low ballin'. Just look at those arms, holding such huge blasters!

A sneaky move by Bandai to include that effect part for RG RX-93ff ν Gundam exclusively with this kit. It increases the odds that someone would want to get both of them.

While I want this kit, I already have a RG Sazabi. I think I'll just wait for the third party reproduction of the funnels to come out, and save about 60 bucks. It'll probably come with two effect parts, too.

You can switch between standard and mr crab as you want, which is rly nice for such a company like bandai, cuz that wont be happening for the most of the time

also people joked that Amuro is at a disadvantage because his Nu Gundam only has one of the Long-Range Funnel while Char and his Sazabi has two of them, but considering how skilled of a pilot Amuro is he still might make it work and fight on equal terms with Char, lol.

Those giant beam-tonfas look sweet... but I'll always prefer the classic Sazabi design.
The base mobile suit is from the time when bit/funnel "Newtype-use" remote weapons saw much more extensive use, after all.

I just finished building the original RG Sazabi and broke the left shoulder peg as I didn't knew it had such issues, complete bummer. Wish I could get this lobster one and build it right next time. Feels so bad to ruin such a good looking kit.

The RG Sazabi looks amazing, and many parts of its build are indeed designed well..
But those shoulder joints and the sketchy-ass MS frame for the skirting armor has it sit a bit lower for me. Still a great kit, just not at my personal idea of "Gundarium".
The more they get rid of the MS joint the better these kits get
The skirting armor is fine....it's just ABS plastic. They are tight as hell out of the box. The Nu/Hi Nu fin funnels are prebuilt ABS inner frame, no one complains about those joints getting weak or floppy. I think the bigger problem with older real grades is just the fact that the joints are so thin and fragile compared to the amount of moving parts and crap on top of them. The inner frame of the RX-78-2 is like a stick man, especially compared to the master grade inner frame. It's really not a problem for a simple skirt hinge.
New weapons look like a giant squid to me, and I can't un-see it.

Btw have u invested in a metal frame for any of ur kits? They take a smidge of work (filing pegs) but they add that "premium" feel to most kits
The closest I’ve done is add metal hips to the freedom 2.0. Need to give one of those metal frames a go
