So what happened with them??? It's the end of January 2024 now and meanwhile Rode has their Wirelless Pro and DJI has their DJI mic 2, both with 32 bit flow (and Rode has timecode)... so.. .when is Deity going to release these? Can you perhaps just ask them, since you were on their booth last year...

Don't count on it, the dual transmitters one receiver kit pre-order price is $1090.00 I wouldn't be surprised if they price this $400 to $600 easily as they are marketing this as a pro gear and not consumer gear.
Vs the Tascam DR-10 pro, which is $250 including the Timecode, this has stereo as well as the 32-but float and timecode is included. Paired with the TC-1 is a fantastic package. I was very disappointed the THEOS won’t dual transmit and record like the Rode. Diety told me they anticipate it being able to do this in 5-6 years. Something about a patent. I’m assuming $300-350

Great to see them making a timecode audio recorder! It sucks it doesnt have a internal battery, as it sucks having to replace batteries before each wedding day etc
I bet they did this on purpose, next gen will have internal battery & memory
It's way better having it take aa batteries. If for some reason you need to record all day it takes seconds to put in fresh batteries, if you forget to charge it you just grab spare batteries, and you never have to worry about having to send it in to the manufacturer for battery replacement when it starts losing battery life.
@@jeffreywrightphotographylet me rephrase; a built in interchangable battery pack that charges using usb c. 12-15 hours of recording, then change the battery pack and charge the used one
I much prefer AA batteries! You can get AA batteries everywhere, and you can use rechargeable ones that last a long time. If it had an internal non user replaceable battery like many other prosumer systems do, the recorder itself would die and become trash once the internal battery is at the end of its life. Thank you Deity!!!
