ഞാൻ എൻ്റെ മുറ്റം കല്ല് പാകി ഇടയിൽ പുല്ല് നട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. എൻ്റെ അനുഭവത്തിൽ പറയുന്നു, ഇത് അത്ര നല്ലതല്ല. കാരണം ചൂടായാൽ പുല്ലിന് ദിവസവും വെള്ളം നനക്കണം. ഇങ്ങനെ ചൂട് സമയത്ത് വെള്ളം വീഴുമ്പോൾ കല്ലുകൾ പൊട്ടും. പിന്നെ പുല്ലിന് പല തരം അസുഖങ്ങൾ വന്ന് മഞ്ഞളിക്കും. വലിയ മെനക്കേടാണ്. ചെളി പറ്റിയാൻ കല്ലിൻ്റെ കളറും പോകും. ദയവു ചെയ്ത് കരിങ്കല്ല് പാകരുത്.
പ്രകൃതിയെ ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്നവരോട് ഇ natural stone എന്ന് കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ വീണുപോകേണ്ട .ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ഉള്ള stones mining ഇലൂടെ എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അത് പ്രകൃതിയെ എത്രമാത്രം ദോഷകരമായ നിലയിൽ effect ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്ന് കൂടി മനസിലാക്കണം .western Ghats ഇന്ന് നേരിടുന്ന ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രശ്നം mining ആണ് .

Good you are encouraging water harvesting while paving the garden, also discourage using chemicals. If we let the native grass grow then things become much simpler. It may not be a turnkey operation as the natural grass will take time to grow.
