Realistically you can play it all the same without the first string seeing as the tuning basically has it so the first 2 strings are the same and the second two strings are the same

Hello internet friend! I also have quite short fingers but after almost 15 years of playing guitar I can recommend, that you look for guitars with modern C shape necks. It works wonder and always remember, your tool must fit you, not otherwise :)

If it's common to hear a weird sound when you're tuning any of your strings you might want to have a guitar tech check out the nut, snapped strings are often caused by the string catching on a rough nut slot which needs to be filed down.

For those of you who want to play in standard tuning with the exception of the high E, to get it to a D tuning just match your high E to the same pitch as the 3rd fret on your B string...boom! I've really grown to love your videos even more than i was initially. I for one have a hard time reading and understanding chords/tabs through stuff like ultimate guitar, but this with rhythm and speed is just perfect. Tuning to BDDDDD my guitar (nylon strings sadly) was a hell, learning to play it was heaven, and when my friend asked me to play other song tuning back to normal was a hell again, but it was worth the effort
