I could not sleep anymore (a storm had woken me up, now it sounds like, it is getting less again) and so I thought that I have a look, what is going on here and was at first like "What?". Well, I am Austrian and let me tell you this, I do not watch this stuff, since they started up to sing more and more in English, because I always liked the different Sound, of the different Countries. You heard Greek, French, Spanisch, Italien, Swedish and many more and I loved it, but since they started to do it general in English, It gave me a vibe, that it is in the US and did not get interested anymore. But one thing, I remembered clear. Conchita tried it already in 2012 (I heard it once and found this already good), but "lost" in the contest, they usually have, so that the people can vote. In 2014 however, it got changed. This once, who ever decides it, where sending Conchita to the contest, without a voting. Not only this started up the discussion, it was also a huge problem, that it is a Drag Queen (I tell the truth, although enough Austrians do not want to be remembered anymore and even deny it, bad for you, because I have a good memory, when it comes down to such things). The majority where anything else then amused. As soon, as she won the contest, after 48 years the second one from Austria (first one was Udo Juergens with "Merci, Cherie (yes French, but only the Chorus and the contest is a bit older), she got a very huge welcome and I got sick to see, how fake the majority is. I also can say it, because I never had problems to talk to gays or Drag Queens, while I know enough, who had huge issues with it. There are "faster" songs as well and yes, I like some, not all (because it is not so mine, I also hardly listen to Celine Dion and Co.) No you have a little "behind the scene story" as well. There where roomers, that he wanted to let Conshita "die". Could be that he did. He was born on 6th of November and Scorpions all about "Die & Rebirth". I normally hide my "Scorpio side" even official behind the Libra, but I am so at the end of the Libra Zodiac, that even more than one got already confused, when I said; Celine Dion "oh god", Rammstein "let's Rock". 😂
