I wish we had more games with synergy elements with these two, where they can use each other's strengths like in this animation.
Heck, I wish Sonamy finally outright became official! Y'a hear me Sega?!
Seriously, the game developers really underestimates the gameplay potential this could have in a full-fledged 3D game.
I know this kind of gameplay has kinda already been done with Sonic Heroes and that they might chaff at the thought of reusing a gameplay element from a previous game, that is of character synergies, but c'mon Amy and Sonic never had their turn...
It could even be a good opportunity to make a more mature game, I mean, Sonic fans of the first hour and those that followed since then aren't getting any younger, it would be a smart move to have now more adventurous games that follow their now more mature players, people who grew up with Sonic and became adults themselves who'd like to try to still identify to their characters. It would be the occasion to age their characters a bit, especially with the way how Frontiers ended, change isn't all that bad even if it can be intimidating.
Could even make a co-op game out of it! An optional feature of course for those who aren't interested in this kind of things. But for those who are, it could allow couples to play together or even just friends...
Of course I'm not expecting this to be a permanent feature in future games, but it could be nice to have this time to time. Interspersed between the "regular" types of games, even if let's be honest those games often comes with special gameplay elements of their own, again with Frontiers being a chief example of this.
But I know how much of a pipe dream this all is... But who knows, currently the Sonic franchise is doing pretty good, maybe great even, so it might be the occasion for the developers to try new things.
Anyhow, I've got that off of my chest now I guess... Great work on those animations!

@Nigel Stoney in fighting yes but speed she learn it from the best and more in this video, and I believe Amy is faster then what she believe but she have limit, and is her stamina but in every Sonic game she become faster then the last game she be playable, so if Sonic train her, trust me she will become faster... well I think when Amy chase him with her hammer, Sonic secretly train her by make believe he run away from her, he see something in her so he train but nobody know but Sonic, sure he make look he run away from her but he know she can't hit him with his full speed, sure he do not see something in her as the first time he meet her but the more he see her in action the more he see it, plus Sonic trust his friends, but what I am sick of it is all the joke of Amy mistake any characters who look close to Sonic when is not Sonic, is make her look as a idiot when she not a idiot, sure when she meet Shadow is ok, because he look like Sonic!
