- This old 1980 Berlinetta is super cool! This was the "Luxury" Camaro, so it didn't have spoilers or a hood scoop. What is really cool about this car is that no one ever "added" any of the stuff to this car! Most of these have been built into a hot rod, Z/28 clone, etc, not this one. This car has a few "period" add on accessories, but this car was never hot rodded or turned into something that it never was!
I drove the car in after I bought it. It ran down the highway fine at 60 mph and did pretty well. The front suspension definitely has some wear in it, but the car did run out pretty good!
It's almost weird to see a 2nd generation F body without a rear spoiler, but this one does not have one and never did have one! It has the original wheels and the car was fairly well loaded for the day with power windows, cruise, and tach and gauges!
Let's go take a look at this old Camaro!

If you have questions about vehicles or parts, the only way to get a hold of me is to call me, 8 AM-8 PM CST, no texts.
If I don’t answer, I’m probably on the phone with someone else and if you don’t leave me a message, I just assume you're another telemarketer trying to sell me an extended warranty! LOL!
If you comment, message, text, e-mail, etc., don't expect me to find it and don't expect an answer. Thanks for watching, Chad 620-786-4428 - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Cool car thanks for taking the time to share with all of us. Will be a neat car for someone to do something with.
What a blast from the past. I bought a 1980 Z28 in '91. I was the third owner. It was white with the blue two color racing stripes that formed "Z28" running along the bottom rocker panels/doors. It had the hood scoop with the air induction. It also had the 3-speed auto. I wish it had overdrive. The only add on were headers, traction bars, and Flowmasers. When she was running right she would scream. I think it was only rated at 185 horses, but we all know that was to satisfy E.P.A. I bought it from my best friend and his dad in '93 for $2500. I sold it two years later for $1300. I wish I had held on to it, and I used to have recurring dreams about still owning it. It got to a point beyond my mechanical expertise at the time, and I found myself under the hood more than I was behind the driver's seat.
The first thing I thought of was the headliner and probably the visors need replacing. Sure enough, they do. Not a big job.
Those louvers over the back window probably saved the back glass, rear shelf, and tops of the back seats from getting destroyed by the sun.
New carpet is a given.
I'm with you on this one. Overall, this car should be restored BACK TO FACTORY NEW. Too nice a car to chop up or scrap.

Reminds me of the 1980 Camaro my father had. It was my first car I drove for a while. The car was originally white, but later repainted red. It was a V6 Berlinetta, but with a spoiler.
He sold it in the late 1990s. Now, I'm older I wanted to buy it back and restore it, but I cannot find the buyer's info. It will live only in my memories and some photos.
Love those Camaro wheels with the tires with the white letting 👍
Another awesome find Chad
I had a red 1980 Camaro. It was my 1st car bought in December of 1987. This is such a cool find. Thank You for sharing

I bought a 1979 Camaro Rally Sport last year from the original owner. 100% original untouched.
I've got a question what are the dealership stands that you see in D what ships what color chips and interior chips
Man i love that car Brings back all kinds of memories Will it be for sale?
And yes some did have a spoiler on em my cousin has one it was a 79 Camaro.
I hade a all original 1979 Berlineta all the strips are original including the Bumpers I had all the original paperwork from 1979 I was able to do a whole history report on it I had the build sheet and sales paperwork and window stickers mine was a dark metallic blue with blue pine strips
How sticky is that steering wheel
Love original
Great Video.
The 15” Alloy wheels are not original.
They are from the Z28.
The car came with 14” wheels with spiked hub caps.
Great car though. I hope someone gives it a lot of TLC.
14" alloys were optional on the Berlinetta in 1980. Probably pretty rare by now.
@@thewillismon Yes, I think you're right. The alloy Berlinetta rims were an option in 1980. I think in 1981 they only had the spoked hub caps. I'll have to look at the brochures again. haha
@@80CAMZ28 The fancy wheels and no spoiler seems odd. My guess is this was a special order car.
See .. that bra in the trunk would make my day! My dad had a white one just like this.. love the video
What this worth?
$2-3k
Bruh... the pin stripes and door ding guards are part of the berlinetta pack
That engine has been modified, I can hear what sounds like a can in it or the exhaust has been modified.
Probably has new exhaust on it. I put duals and headers on mine after I put a 327 in it.
@@ClaytonsStuff sounds like a mild cam I could be wrong but it sounds like it’s ready to run the strip a lil bit.
The pinstripes are factory
