"All Together Now!" Beach Boy Hotel, Hukilau Restaurant, and beloved Coconut Marketplace in Kauai

Ahhh, childhood memories that are somewhat intact. Not talking about my memory, I'm talking about the Coconut Plantation: with its hotels, condos, and marketplace (mall.) We have stayed at a few of the hotels there between coconut trees. And lots of it is still there!
Actually they have been good, but I want to share one mostly from my youth, the Beach Boy Hotel, now known as Kauai Coast Resort at Beach Boy. So it's been converted from a hotel to condos. Now the rooms are larger in size, may have a kitchenette, bedrooms, dining spot, and even, wow--washing machine!
No, we don't have a timeshare there or own a condo, but we have rented some there for a few days. It does have the comforts of home and old memories of the three story buildings, the little balconies, the low stairs, the proximity to the ocean and many other favorite places.
Located in Kapa'a Kauai makes the Coconut Plantation very central to many things to visit, play and eat. One very close is located on site, the Hukilau Restaurant. This spot is popular, so book your reservations early. Eat dinner as the sun sets and the tiki torches highlight the flowing coconut trees.
Just a few steps away is the Coconut Marketplace, which has cute shops, some eateries and a very handy "ABC" Store called "Island Country Markets." They have the souvenirs, sandwiches and desserts to satisfy many. I happen to love their jello cheesecake.
You too can go coconuts for Kauai!

Mahalo Andy, I know I'm an amateur at this. (Most of this video is regurgitated from old vacation pictures.) My recent filmings are somewhat better. But it's because of you that I even tried doing the editing. I've always put "albums of photos" together on Shutterfly but I wanted to mix both video and photos like this. Mahalo nui loa!
