@@gregtowle8830 Because Elon doesn't do anything conventional. I agree that it's not the greatest looking vehicle, but there are over a million people that put a deposit down for one. I don't know of any other vehicle that's ever had that level of demand and interest.

I just put $1000 down on the cyberbeast. Delivery date is “late 2024”. The AWD delivery date was April-June 2024. I stuck with the CB because the AWD would be slower than my X5M.

Yes. I got my configuration for CB on Jan 5th 2024 and it said Mid or Late 2024. Did yours say Mid or just Late and when did you put your $1000 down. I also put $500 down for extended battery 😊

Difference between the AWD and Beast:
$16k more for the Beast
1.1 seconds faster to 60 MPH
A little less range on the beast.
20 MPH faster top speed.
I reserved the Beast, but went with the AWD.
Same head turning affect.
You forgot the horsepower 845 compared to 600 and comes with free Off road light bar on top only for Cyberbeast. Better value for sure foundation CB. $20k well spent.
@@cyber8east true that. I was implying it in the acceleration number but it does have relevance to towing. However, the difference between
600 and 845 HP for any normal towing driver will be negligible. I’m not saying the difference in the numbers is negligible, I’m saying what most every day people tow doesn’t need anything over 600 hp. I speak from experience as a F350 driver, and having other towing vehicles in the past.
And yes the light bar.
@@ericred8124 i have only towed with a lr model x with 670 hp. i feel like the awd would handle the load much better, but i think in terms of pulling, the more power, lower weight, it looks like it would be faster and more powerful for towing up to 5000lbs. however if the awd has more torque, then this might not apply, but we dont know torque yet. i think considering how insanely powerful the cyberbeast is, if you punch it while towing, 11k lbs to pass, you'll definitely feel a difference there, but yeah, its still very powerful for towing even in standard awd trim. and it'll probably be better too since the longer range.
@@user-rm7kb3il6x Additionally, what most novice "towers" don't realize, it's not about how much it can pull so much as how much it can handle in terms of payload (downforce). That's what made it so disappointing when Tesla dropped the payload from 3500 to 2500. With 3500 lbs of payload, the down force of many 5th wheels would have been doable. Of course then there is the issue with pull at the same time. Most trucks that have 3000 lbs + of payload can usually PULL 20k+ There was definitely some imbalance if that had been the case. 2500 Payload and 11k Pull is more in line with each other.
It doesn't have the wheel covers because Tesla has to work out the issue that they were digging into the sidewall of the tires.
So excited to get one, definitely gonna be top 3 daily drivers for a while.

Ford bought a cyberbeast they actually have it in their research and development plant. I wonder what are they doing with that. They will take it all apart and put a ford f150 body. Which in theory they should.
That a-pillar creates a massive blindspot.

Hummer EV actually has way more aggressive rear wheel steering than the CT and will out maneuver it. Also it brakes in a shorter distance even though it is 3000 lbs more

I would definitely buy a Cyberbeast over the regular Cybertruck if I could afford it. For now just going to buy the new Highland Performance whenever the damn thing gets released! Should be as fast as this Huge truck! 😁

Really interested where Cybertruck will be in 18 months once fully ramped and improved.
I EXPECT:
- V3/V4 4680 cells increasing range AT LEAST by 10-20%
- Good build quality going GREAT
- Rear camera getting cleaning fluid & better rear view mirror & blind spot solution
- Better aero caps & small changes of bent stainless steel parts for slightly better drag coefficen
- smaller, more efficient windshield wiper
- factory treatment against fingerprints & specks of rust (that was always expected if you understand what stainless steel is
- more protection against sharp angles & upon closing doors, frunk
- door opening wider upon button push, more springs so kids open it easier
- even less road noise
- differential settings & full back wheel turning radius unlocked
- crab walk mode & adjustable steer-by-wire sensitivity
- deeper Wade mode perhaps Amphibious mode
- small efficiencies behind the frunk and trunk for slightly larger volume
- FSD, Starlink as attachable accessory, even more accessories
I mean day 1 quality and capabilities are quite great considering how many things the Cybertruck does for the first time especially how it is being built. Which leaves a lot on the learning curve room for getting even, much better.
So basically a total redesign 😂
@@richardrichard9631 :) True to Tesla fashion. They planned to electrify the Lotus Elise and ended up replacing 95% of the parts. Also the Model Y 4680 was a near complete internal redesign - not that it amounted to much. So yeah.. they will change a lot and hopefully for the better.

The only reason I like it is because it’s different and will change car design going forward. Everything looks the same/npc-ish on the roads nowadays
I think the triangle on the roof line throws off everything, if they got rid of that and made the rear end at least somewhat interesting I think it would be a pretty cool looking car

I live in Dripping Springs, Texas and work in South Austin and I have seen at least 20 Cyber Trucks total in only a few short months. I always try to look in the windows hoping to see Elon. I am absolutely obsessed with them. My father passed away a year ago and I know he would have loved them. They make me think of my Pops. 🥲
