You just saved my 72 y/o life with this video & your others for my inherited 2018 Samsung Four Door Flex RF. It WON'T hold a temp change even after I tried doing a hard power off to attempt a reset - BUT - I did manage to get OUT of Refrigerator Flex Mode with your super easy video & HOW to turn off the bloody annoying replace filter light OFF & HOW to adjust temps IF the darn door control panel unit is WORKING right... It was WONDERFUL while it was working perfectly before this hiccup - but of course the kids have no user manual or papers for it. So still hoping for the best till the repair tech gets here to fix whatever is wrong with it! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting your lifesaving VIDEOS!

I'm having an issue with the ice not staying frozen enough, so when I want cubed ice, it comes out somewhat melted, slushy, and goes all over the place. The ice doesn't seem to be controlled by the freezer temperature, but perhaps I'm doing something wrong.... I've tried turning the temperature down and had no luck. Not to mention, a little water comes out, too-because whoever thought putting the water dispenser behind the ice dispenser was clearly not using it on a daily basis. Any ideas?

Thanks for the video. I have a Samsung 2 door, similar controls. It is now freezing foods in the fridge. My default settings are -2 F (freezer) and 38 F (fridge). Any ideas what could be wrong? Idk how old the fridge is. Previous owner of the home had it. House is 15 years old, but fridge could have been another one they bought after building the house. Not sure. I raised the fridge to the highest temperature which is 44 F and I'll see if that makes any difference or not.

So, my Samsung refrigerator's temperature setting only goes down to 37 F before it "cycles around." On this video, your refrigerator allowed you to set the temperature below 37F. Do you know whether there's a way (e.g., a factory setting) for me to modify the temperature range that's displayed, so that I can likewise reduce the temperature to below 37F? I'd prefer it to be a degree or two lower.
What does everyone have the temp set to to make ice the best? My ice maker stopped making ice, but i had moved the refrigerator for cleaning. Water line is fine, water works great - after I power cycled it all last night, it's making ice, but slow. I lowered the freezer temp from 0 to -5 to see if it helps. I just had my ice maker replaced. Thank goodness for extended warranties. Apparently the ice makers have a bad valve that needs to be replaced. It started to leak and the ice wasn't properly freezing. It also froze up. Repairman replaced the whole thing. What's odd is he changed my freezer setting to -2° and said that Samsung prefers it set there. Didn't ask me if it was OK or not. I've always kept it at 0° and not had any problems with my food. Since the ice maker is up top I didn't get why he changed it. Any thoughts on this.

I have this same fridge... but the control panel, there's no display... I can press any of those buttons for three seconds, and nothing happens.. no beep, no display... but the fridge works fine... Hi, I had a power failure and my freezer keeps showing me -23 degrees.I follow the instructions to change and it works it is set at -19 degrees however when i open my door it shows -23 again. what can I do?
My 4 door Flex display panal stays on all the time. Also, I set my freezer to 0 and it shows 36. It is not making ice but the food is staying frozen. I cut the breaker off for 2 mins and did a reset by holding down on Power Freeze/Power Cool at the same time. The display panel flashed all of the numbers but the freezer still shows 36 and the panel stays on. Any other ideas? Thanks
I have tried to lower my refrigerator temperature from 44F to 34F but when I get it down to 34F 2 seconds later it pops back to 44F. I cannot get it to stay on 34F. Some of my food (cheeses) have gone bad. I need help!

In the Model RT-18M, there is no numbers, only 5 lights for the fridge and 5 for the cooler. But, what is he way too change the temperature. We have the book, but the book doesn't explain this simple operation. Really Weird!.... Please help if someone knows.
But the temperature resets back to default temperatures for both freezer and fridge. Same thing happened in your fridge if you notice. Now how to change the temperature so that it doesn't reset?
@@lupemoreno5220 yes, the back of the fridge had ice buildup and stopped the fan from circulating. There’s a CZcams on removing the back panel and defrosting the ice. Once that was done and put back together it works great again. Luck!!
