Burundi Capital Bujumbura: Fastest Growing City in East Africa

- Bujumbura served as both the Political and Economic Capital City of Burundi Until Recently in 2018, When the Political Capital City Status was Moved to Gitega. Bujumbura is currently the Economic Capital of Burundi.
Bujumbura also serves as Burundi's main port on Lake Tanganyika where exports and imports of goods take place between the capital and Kigoma in Tanzania, and also between Burundi and Kalemi in Congo (Kinshasa).
The Bujumbura International Airport which is situated at the Outskirts of the City Serves as the Main Gateway to the City and the Country at Large. From the Airport into the city the Roads are well tarmacked which makes traveling in the city easier and Comfortable. Taxis and minibusses form the main mode of Transport in Bujumbura. Taxis are found almost in every part of the city and are considered the safest mode of Transport.

Burundi is really good to visit. I don't know why they show case as poverty country. I would say instead of critisism to this country people should come up to donate and do charity.

According to the U.K government , Bujumbura is not safe place here is a quote from the U.K website "The crime rate in Burundi is high. There is a risk of muggings at gun and knifepoint, bag-snatching, pickpocketing, burglary, car break-ins and armed carjackings. " So thank you , but no thank you , my safety is more important than how the city l;looks like
I can tell you that Bujumbura is the safest city in the whole of the Eastern and Central African region.

@dudewithamood4673 If you read UK travel advice on most african countries, you will notice that travellers are advised to be aware of those types of crimes you cited; but this doesn't mean that all countries are unsafe.
