I was there in 2021, very beautiful city. I went there through kigoma, boarder with Burundi tho and it was only like 2hrs drive I believe
@Gregoire. I visited Kigoma and Ujiji in 1978 when I was still living in Tanzania (Dodoma) as a Burundian refugee. I visited the site where the two famous explorers met near Lake Tanganyika.

@explorewithbertin brother, rwandese aren't good people, burundi and congo took care of them in a very difficult time in their country's history, gave them everything from shelter , job, even sent them in Europe for post secondary education on our tax payer, once in power the turned their backs on us, and insulting us. Why do you think tanzania are very respected all across SADC? Is because of mwalimu's legacy to those countries. I can tell you one thing if one thing goes wrong between your president and kagame be ready for these rwandese to sabotage your Chanel, to trash tanzania and more.
