Don't change a thing Matt! It is exactly what beginners need. They also need to see mistakes and how to correct them. I have been making sterling silver and gemstone wire jewelry for 14 years and I still learn some good tips from you. SO, I say, long live your long detailed videos! 😘
The longer the video the more interesting and the longer we get to smile and laugh. Thanks so much for your artistry and even more for sharing your wonderful self with us.😊
Please don’t change what you’re doing. I love these videos short or long or in between. No need to edit
I always appreciate your explanations, the longer, the better. Being blind, it makes it easier to follow what you're doing. I love watching your long tutorials repeatedly, so I can learn from you. It was actually your channel that introduced me to the idea of wire-wrapping. Thank you for doing what you do, having fun and teaching as you go.
Matt your videos are never too long. You explain everything, which is what you need to learn. You are a fantastic teacher and your voice is so calming. I don't even notice the time when you're showing me the inner workings of your creative mind. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your no hole wraps.
I love how you explain the whole process. Please don’t shorten your tutorials. I watch them several times over to get my head into the thought process. Awesome job!
still one of your BEST!!
Just got into wrapping stones. I've been making and selling exotic vape coils, so I have years of experience with all kinds of wire. Doing this for a job, to me, would be a dream.
I like when you take time to explain. Thanks for giving us these videos. .
Finally a wire-wrapping tutorial that actually works for me! And a fine sense of humor. Thanks very much for sharing you skills. ;-)
Tutorial length is fine because its packed with info. Nothing worse than low-info long tutorials. Love your vids!
Hey Matt I just came along and spotted your video on wire wrapping. I will be watching these and practising. When I get the hang of it I will be at more of your auctions it was so much fun. My mushroom should be coming soon I'm so excited. Thanks for your videos and I love your shop and all your art.
Thankyou Matt for the video on wrapping stones without holes, it is the most difficult for me to wrap. I like the longer videos because they are more detailed, thanks again, Jo Ann
Your videos are not too long. I lose track of time because I'm pulled right in...I have bags and boxes of beautiful stones and wire just sitting around because I didn't know how to do wrapping. I'll keep watching 'till I feel confident enough. Thanks Matt...
I definitely appreciate the long demonstration type videos. It makes it a lot easier to learn this stuff when we actually see the process behind why you did stuff a certain way in the moment instead of just editing all that detail out. Thanks for the help
you could say "thats what she said" so many times in your videos hahaha i love it.
My mom and I both make jewelry. she found your videos first and we both have fallen in love with your videos. I think the length of your videos are right where they need to be. You're explaining how wire wrap works. You're doing great thanks for all your help Matt.
Matt, you are sharing your thought process of why you are doing what you are doing to get where you desire to go. Go with it. It is working. Never mind the time. Anyone truly interested in the art will hang around for all.🤗
So ture
Exactly how to do undrilled stones! The stone dictates the pattern. You make it look easy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful talents. Adding the “lightening bolts” at the end adds to the unique design.
Matt, your visual tutorial is never too long and gratefully appreciated.
From beautiful Las Vegas Nevada 🙋
Not too long you're easy to follow great teacher
Another great tutorial!
You are a great teacher Matt! 😊
You are an amazing teacher, I binge watch your videos.
Matt love all your youtubes and never long. Dont ever worry about that. I'm taking in all I can from you and you wonderful humor love of stones and jewelry. Keep it up.❣K
I have got to say, Thank you! I shaped and polished a stone that has a special meaning to me. I had no idea what I wanted to do with it. But I didn't want to drill it. This was awesome!
You are so natural working with wire. Amazing. I love watching your videos.
This is not too long. I've enjoyed all your videos and have learned so much! Thank you for inspiring me to be more adventurous in my creations 🙂
Hi Matt, I love your teaching methods. Please continue as you are. I have watched many wire wrapping videos and yours are the best. I would love to see a video showing several different ways to make a bail for stones without holes
The flatter stone is picture jasper and the rounder one is carnelian. I think I showed a different carnelian in the beginning than the one I ended up wrapping.
A great stone Thanks
The length of the video can be hours long if you're explaining your thought process the whole time then every minute is worth it. So many artists make it seem flawless because they edit the thinking out and I feel dumb for not getting it the first time I try it. Thanks for being human 🤗.
I absolutely agree. Matt is like a magician with the stones and wire. Everytime I think of something I'd like to see him do, I go on his CZcams and there it is what I was wanting to see him do. It's like hes reading my mind. Matt I sure would like to see in his mind and see what all the tricks and techniques he has under his belt. Matt your a sweetheart. K
The most helpful thing in every tutorial I watch is the accidents.
@@kimmikulak6524 morning I tried h go
Videos where the instructor shares the thinking process show how to think through the process in real life and how to think optimistically about the slightly unpredictable results.
Total newbie - don't change anything - this was easy to follow. I was looking for how to even just make the bale and now I think I can wrap the odd shaped stones I have
I like the longer video with more explanation, Even though this video is longer I have watched it several times.
All the ands, ums, and that's not right make you human and imperfect. And that is great to watch especially being another artist who gets frustrated when it doesn't work. Watching you makes me feel normal. I tend to go overboard and be a perfectionist. It drives my sister crazy. So bottom line thank you for being human.
Your tutorials are not long and they are not choppy and not choppy is wonderful.
...unless you're a kung fu expert or a knife salesman...
@@MattsCrazyArt see I did like you but now I'm not so sure
Matt, just came across this video. Great timing too. I have a piece of Picture Jasper with a similar shape. I'm pausing the video till I can go get it in my Crafty Room. I want to follow what you do with it. Yup, I was right, they are very similar in shape. Crazy that I should remember 1 stone when I have 200 of them, plus my Dollar Tree Rocks.
I love the fact you show how to figure out a design on paper, and you show mistakes. Too many times we don't want mistakes seen, but this is the best way others can learn, what not to do.
Matt, I think longer videos help show more detail we might miss, if you do a shorty. I watch from start to finish and don't worry about time. For me, learning new techniques doesn't have time limits.
Matt you are a delight to listen to because you explain things in a way a newbie like me can fully understand. Fit change of shorten anything!
I am crazy about your videos. Just started a jewelry making class and the tips and inspiration I am getting from you is priceless. It’s just plain fun!

Thank you so much for your videos!! I, too am learning so much from you!! And, no, I don't think your videos are too long!! That also helps us learn what to do as you run into any little problems and how you fix them!! Very informative!!!
Just found channel. Love, Love, Love
I just subscribed to your channel looking for ideas. The longer tutorials seem to be more informative. As a new wire wrapper I like gaining as much info as possible especially about stones with no holes since I've found more of those I just love (especially the more clear ones for the little defects you can see). Thank you for your videos.
Beginner here and appreciate the process and explanations. Fascinating . Thanks
Both came good👏. The crimps on the second one definitely made it look better👍
MATT, YOU AND I HAVE THE SAME STYLE OF MAKING WIRE JEWELRY. FUN!
I love all of your videos Matt, you are so talented. And no, the video's aren't to long, as long as your explaining what your doing and having fun. And thats exactly what your doing!
Matt love your wire wrap vidios your fun to watch, I've tried many times to wire wrap . after watching your vidios , it has given confidence to try it again thank you for all of your grade videos you're awesome
I love this tutorial. Wrapping undrilled stones is what I have the most trouble with. You make it so look so simple. I find that thicker wire is nice because it seems more stable once it is wrapped.
i really like this style Matt, cant wait for next delivery, i have some nice stones in there i think.
I realllllllllly luvvvv ur wrk n personality but didn't care too much 4 the drawing parts lol. But I luv the way u explaine and talk thru ur wrk. I have been wanting 2 learn how 2 do this and with ur videos I instantly got it!! Now i can make jewelry 4 men not just women!! Thank u sooooo much I'm going 2 continue watching u wrk!! Thank u again!!
A teaching video is always as long as it needs to be to teach techniques
Matt you just amaze me.
So much fun to watch, and learn!
