He was a shining star in a dark era of the nhl. Being fortunate enough to watch his career here in Calgary what he was lacking he made up for with sheer will and determination. Probably the greatest ambassador for hockey and human beings in general. I hope to see more of him in some form or another, be it a coach a GM or PM. His story is not over!
Almost teared up. What an icon. Really amazing career. I was in grade 2 during the 04 cup run :P i may not have been partying on the red mile, but i remember how involved the whole city got. Calgary's glory days. It was really a wonderful time
I'm a oilers fan but I love Jerome Iginla 1 of the few players that really deserved a cup one of the fewer that were robbed of it haha it to bad he's retired cause the flames can do it again
I'm a Habs fan, thought I'd just check out a few minutes...I wound up watching the whole hour of the video. Great video. Great player. Iginla and Conroy should've won the cup in '04...they were robbed.
My Favourite player in the NHL. I have his jersey and I’ll keep it Forever and pass it to my son who will pass it to his son and it will keep on going.
Any chance for a downloadable version...the biggest flames fan ever that I know is kinda old and can only watch this on his TV...(ie. DVD, etc.) I know he'd love this.
Sorry , guys . Who tells me, why Miikka was apsent? I`m sure he must be next,,,,, and after, long time through those spot will take Mark, Johnny and Tkachuk, may be Monny, if we get SC..... sorry for my bad english, I live about 100 km from Helsinki.... And I wanna watch Miikka!))))))))
Far more interesting is when Jerome asked Phaneuf to stay on ice after a practice and they fought, Jarome beat his head in then they traded Dion to Toronto.... Dion was fooling around with Conroys wife
As a Canuck fan this ceremony was amazing, I enjoyed the games between them. both the twins and Iginla deserved a Cup and cheered them on in ‘04
cheers
So much respect for the Wild for watching the entire ceremony
Anyone else here after his HoF induction? Literally the HIGHEST form of class, grit and talent. Miss watching this guy. Thanks for the memories Jarome
Damn you somehow remember 2004? That's crazy. I mean I was only 5 when it was happening but I have no memory of it

Legend
Great speech
Fleury not having his jersey retired is a Atrocity
He hasn't retired yet
Lol little Johnny looked like a kid at the theatre when the trailers are done.
After seeing the intro players, you realize how much he put the team on his back. Played with nobodies. (Except kipper)
