Excellent video as always, it is a shame that I only have 2 cousins who do play smash with whom I can improve and we only play from time to time, but it is no excuse for not wanting to improve.
Marth was the first character I took as a main character in the end and I plan to go as far as she can with him.

There are fine goals to have that lead to winning, like inputting things correctly, doing the right counterplay, etc., but "wanting to win" is a terrible goal since 50% of it depends on the other person playing plus potentially Ult jank happening in your favor or not happening at all

I said I was quitting Marth and now I am back on him, I'm just a believer. I was definitely winning more with Lucina, but Marth is just so much more fun.
Marth does very well against Bayo, Kazuya, and GnW. The comain I have decided on is Link. I'm playing Link like T played Link. The bomb is overrated and I really like how T approached the character as opposed to Bernie and some of the other Links. I'm really playing Link with a Marth main mentality. I'm so used to hitting nair1 with Marth that I can consistently hit people with bair1 with Link, which is his best combo start and under utilized by Link mains. Also, the change in Link's down-tilt knockback has led me to find a few good combos and mixups. I'm also not being coy when it comes to spamming his nair in an intelligent way. Some characters just cannot deal with it at ledge, especially if you fade back when you do it to make the spacing safe.

I had a lot of demotivating regarding smash for a bit for a similar reason. I think the solution of playing to improve and less so to win. Whilst playing with players who I can play smash with that’ll give me advice will definitely help. My only issue is I don’t exactly have anyone to do this with… would you be able to recommend any discord/reddit communities to possibly find players?

I didn't say that. I said Marth abd Corrin *collectively* cover all of them, and then I specified that it was Corrin who was good in the MU.
In terms of beginner Marth tips, one thing is to work on your tipper spacing and timing. I recommend using sours for combos as well. I made some guides on Marth's Down Tilt and Down Air, which are very strong options.
My bad about the beginning, but thanks for the tip(haha I’ll never stop farming that joke). I saw vids on your channel and captain falchion and it really inspired me to pick up Marth(and lucina), so thanks a lot.
