Oh, THAT old chestnut of an advert; they made them in New Zealand as well, with the actors tucking their hands under their arms and flapping like a chook. I thought they were cool.
Looks tidy but for four quid I'd at least expect a free range British bird and not some foreign muck shipped halfway round the world to Ireland and then shipped to the UK just for good measure 😂 I'll make my own I think Ga 😂
421 g is 92.7% of 454 g = 1 lb! The explanation is that the original weight was probably 454 g, but they have reduced the weight but kept the cost the same! Or, perhaps, are charging more.
You'd have to put on a wig lol Loved the Elvis jibe. To be honest I've over done the chilli a few times and made food inedible. You can always add to it but not remove from it ha ha.Burns burns burns, ring of fire.
More Iceland over priced food it’s not good value for money 4 pounds for 421 grams really I won’t be buying these any time soon for what you get you could do much better for the money good food review Gareth I do understand why you do theses reviews you saved me 4 pounds good video keep up the good work
That TFI stuff is so expensive.I don't really understand these Restaurant tie-ins in Iceland Iceland as a store is strange got the Eco-Nut Boss . Yet have a customer demographic the furthest thing away from that . Everytime I go in there or Farm Foods everybody looks like The Golightly's from Beadles About
Thank you Gaz for another great review 👍 One for the son's menu, although tonight it's Haggis, neeps and tatties 🏴🤤😋 I was lol at the "shake it all over" rendition 😂👍 Johnny K. or Shaken S.🤔 Have a lovely day Gaz ❤
had the chilli ones which were lovely 3 items from TGI for 10 quid so much cheaper with the deal also had the chicken strips with I think louisiana glaze plus the meat ball lasagne I put mine in a dish covered with mozzarella and that was lovely
I sometimes still goto Iceland for odds and ends but I've noticed the price's are unreal and the portions much smaller and at times the quality lacks, so my goto shop really is aldi for most things, apart from frozen food I do usually get that from Iceland, I always try to buy fresh and then freeze it chicken, beef, lam, pork etc, don't be afraid to experiment with your own herbs and spices, people you will suprise yourself and be amazed how tasty your meals can be with a little imagination, and money saved making your own recipes,I will also add try to support the local butcher I know not everyone can but even as a treat for quality fresh meats maybe once a week you can't go wrong. Thanks Gareth for the video's always an honest opinion that's what we like. I also enjoy your road trips to various food places, you can't beat a bite to eat on the road always seems to taste better outdoors 😁👍
Well done Gareth; you stopped yourself from saying just in time what I was thinking, namely the photo on the box looks like doggy doo rolled in gravel!
Farmfoods have some similar on offer, they're called SPICY DYNAMITE BITES... £1.99 for 450g and for the price... I think they're decent, good kick to em aswell!
Seems a bit pricey but looks half decent. The idea of the sauce on the side works and even better if you mix the chilli in with it for a more even spread with the option of adding more of your own flakes :).
Hi Gareth, First of all I would like to say Loved Your Singing 👍😀 please sing in every review you do that would be super duper fab …… Thanks for sharing a really good review not for me & I thought £4 was very expensive 👍✨
Can't believe you're singing Johnny Kidd and the Pirates (you're far too young to remember that) while wearing an Alvin Stardust glove at the start! I'm hoping to stay at the Furness Railway on a Friday next month to take in a Barrow game the next day (a nice easy 600-mile round trip!), possible train strikes permitting. If there's a karaoke I'll try and contact you!
They look good Gareth. I tried something very similar from FarmFoods and they are called 'Dynamite Bites', 12 mins in the air fryer at 180C,. Hot and fiery and good value.
Hi Gareth, looks like you enjoyed them, I'll have to try them next time i'm in Iceland .🤤😋 My son loves the TGI Friday's boneless BBQ chicken wings. 👍👍
Looks lush Gareth, have you tried the hot & spicy wings? I think you’ll love those they are the Iceland make not the make you tried with the chunks. Great video as usual!
If you like a nice hot spicy meal which i love, next time you get a Chinese takeaway Gareth get Szechuan or Mongolian chicken, nice and fiery, good video again big pal
OK Gareth you like the spice😊,and you are not alone ❤But sadly with age comes the need for a quiet tummy, and not self inflected injures ( the double trouble of food going in then going out) Blaze of glory 😢, well a Blaze anyway 😢ouch!!! TFI FRIDAY are a bit top heavy on price at the best of times. Iceland 🇮🇸 mark 👆 😮😢 not for me. Glad your finding some good grub. Liked the look of the burgers the other day. Cheers pal & all the best Allan&Family
Hi Gareth. So long as the chicken as good quality throughout then I would say £4 isnt too bad. But if you started to come across pieces that had gristle and sinew in I would say not worth it. So thanks for reviewing this for us. I'll probably avoid it as im worried there might be the odd gristly bits which would put me off chicken altogether. As always, a good review you have done here. Cheers.
From an Idependant article "Britain's biggest animal welfare charity said that the standards in two of the biggest poultry exporters, Thailand and Brazil, were generally higher than in basic UK production" according to the RSPCA
Hey BFG, gday from Aus! Those don’t look too foul! 😩 lol 410 grams, That’s how much they weigh! Lolololol. Awesome as always x funny as. Talk soon cobber!
That’s strange gaz. I find black on red extremely easy to read. Just as good as black on white. Iv got some TGI stuff in the freezer. I’ll my girlfriend when she gets home if she finds it hard. She also wears glasses to drive. Do you have difficulty driving when the sun light is a purple orange colour. She does.
Afternoon Gareth and family! Taverymuchlikr for anoth fine film, I live on my own, but what do think is the average meal cost for a family of 4? I know it can vary tremendously, but what would your estimate be today? VBW x
They look okay but there is a lot of breadcrumb coating on them. I bought a packet of frozen chicken pakoras the other day from Home Bargains 10 pieces 300 grams for £2 I think there better value for money and they were actually very good if you have a frozen section at your Home Bargains might be worth a review to compare.
I feel like chicken tonight, chicken tonight
Remember that old advert lol
Haha yes
Oh, THAT old chestnut of an advert; they made them in New Zealand as well, with the actors tucking their hands under their arms and flapping like a chook. I thought they were cool.
£4 OMG that's outrageous !!
It does seem a bit steep. I think the real value in overpriced but tasty products is as a source of recipe ideas.
Johnny Kidd And The Pirates, lol, i'm old..... I might be remembering wrong also but Merseybeat is still cool! 😂🍻✌️
Looks tidy but for four quid I'd at least expect a free range British bird and not some foreign muck shipped halfway round the world to Ireland and then shipped to the UK just for good measure 😂 I'll make my own I think Ga 😂
Totally agree, how can we know how those thai chickens are treated. No thankyou.
I have to say been watching the channel years and I absolutely love it
You're welcome

Always love the content brilliant stuff.
You're welcome 😊
All the TGI Fridays foods are much more expensive than the ‘norm’ but not THAT much better.
I was counting the ingredients and gave up after I got to 30, I going to see if its available as a audio book on Audible
Cheers for another quality food review,Gareth Presley, a very funny start to the video. 👍💯💥
Glad you enjoyed it, you're welcome
Great review and singing. They look good will have to try those
Haha cheers
TGI Fridays food from Iceland not cheap, they do 3 for £10, but all the food we have had from TGI Fridays range, very tasty
Love the singing shakin all over 😂
Haha cheers
Great review Gaz as always they looked nice and they would be more appealing at £2.50 or around that price for the amount you get 👏👏👍👍
You'd have to put on a wig lol Loved the Elvis jibe. To be honest I've over done the chilli a few times and made food inedible. You can always add to it but not remove from it ha ha.Burns burns burns, ring of fire.
Haha good idea mate
I see you got a mention in the Sun this morning, well done Gareth.
Haha 👍 yes crazy isn't it lol
another great review ......im going to definitely try those...
Hope you enjoy

@@BenPlayford-jx1oyI'm guessing you don't like him 😂 this is his job now.
@@BenPlayford-jx1oy why are you watching him then ?
Wonder if the restaurants use “Thai chicken” too ? the British supply chain has gone mad !
Iceland these days is ridiculous price for anythink they seem to think everyone is a millionaire when it's total and utter nonse
gave me a real giggle this 1 lol , will give them a try for sure
I bet they'd go lovely on a wrap . Great review Gareth 👏
Good idea Kevin, cheers pal
Thank you Gaz for another great review 👍 One for the son's menu, although tonight it's Haggis, neeps and tatties 🏴🤤😋 I was lol at the "shake it all over" rendition 😂👍 Johnny K. or Shaken S.🤔
Have a lovely day Gaz ❤
ALDI Do really good spicy chicking chunks.
I love your Elvis impression 😂 that looks nice I do like Iceland, they look like they might be hot though with 4 chilli signs on the box
Elvis didn't sing that, it was Gene Vincent.
had the chilli ones which were lovely 3 items from TGI for 10 quid so much cheaper with the deal also had the chicken strips with I think louisiana glaze plus the meat ball lasagne I put mine in a dish covered with mozzarella and that was lovely
Oh, _shake_ your chicken!
That almost went horribly wrong until I read the thumbnail a second time.
Friday range are a good Iceland brand good video as usual
Be careful Gaz when you say "they know i like my spice", that can mean something very different lol.
Bald Druggie Guy 🤣
like the way they dont put the spice and sauce on the chicken so if sharing it id have it plain and the other half can add it so nice idea
An expensive treat if you like that sort of thing. Thanks for another honest review.xx
You’re welcome 😊
Great review...I eat a lot of junk food, but draw the line at Thailand chicken.
Definitely be trying them they look good 😋
Hope you enjoy
look similar to the birdseye spicy chicken chunks , i f love them ! but i wait till on offer !
Top video Gaz ….. Smithy
Farmfoods have some similar on offer, they're called SPICY DYNAMITE BITES... £1.99 for 450g and for the price... I think they're decent, good kick to em aswell!

Thank you for the video and the singing too. Have you tried the chip shop curry ones xx
Haha cheers
Love the mug!! FOX SAKE! 😍😂😂👍
Haha good isn't it lol
You missed an opportunity not weighing them, would have been interesting to see if they were 421g.
Hi Gareth, First of all I would like to say Loved Your Singing 👍😀 please sing in every review you do that would be super duper fab …… Thanks for sharing a really good review not for me & I thought £4 was very expensive 👍✨

£3 for 450g. hotukdeals says the deal is now expired!😭
Good review Gareth,I think I would prefer a decent chilli sauce instead of that sweet glaze.👍
Hi Gareth, looks like you enjoyed them, I'll have to try them next time i'm in Iceland .🤤😋 My son loves the TGI Friday's boneless BBQ chicken wings. 👍👍
Cheers Shaun
Looks lush Gareth, have you tried the hot & spicy wings? I think you’ll love those they are the Iceland make not the make you tried with the chunks. Great video as usual!

Cheers Miles, hope your have a good weekend mate. Good hearing from you pal.
i bought some, they are very nice,i agree that iceland is getting more expensive but these are nice
@ bold foodie guy would you ever consider doing a military mre meal on the channel would be excellent to see your thoughts on it ?
I've reviewed one in the past. Cheers, yes will do some more.
Most supermarket food and products taste like shite rarely any of them are that nice conveyor belt grub
Fans of Tab System well catered for today. I saw them in the eighties when they supported Depeche Mode at Wembley.
Old Wembley mate the original 👌
£4 for chicken from Thailand that's 28 percent cheaper than UK chicken, the miles this food has covered is crazy and the animal welfare questionable.
From an Idependant article "Britain's biggest animal welfare charity said that the standards in two of the biggest poultry exporters, Thailand and Brazil, were generally higher than in basic UK production" according to the RSPCA
They looked very good 👍
Best wishes gareth 👍
Cheers Kizzy, have a good weekend 👍
Hahaha just reading the Sun today and you’ve got a mention with your Aldi Mumbai Mad Boy, fame at last .
Haha no way, really! Thought I'd of been in the Sunday sport 🤣🤣👍

Hey BFG, gday from Aus! Those don’t look too foul! 😩 lol 410 grams, That’s how much they weigh! Lolololol. Awesome as always x funny as. Talk soon cobber!
Expensive for what they are, but tasty.👍
Cheers Ian

Tesco firecracker lamb sausages 🔥🔥🔥
Hey Gareth!!!!! ❤ 😊
Nice one Gaz 😊

My son might like theae xx
Hahahaha brilliant happy burns night 🏴
Better luck next time Garth

Chicken from Thailand.. Just WHY?????????????? :) Dear oh dear oh dear...
Gareth Aldi Have a NEW Short Rib Brisket Steak & Truffle Oil Sachet Pizza in The Fresh Area Would Love Your Thoughts On It. I'm Cooking Mine Now 😂

She does.
Oy Garth stardust with a voice like that you should give up this gourmet cooking 😂
Afternoon Gareth and family! Taverymuchlikr for anoth fine film, I live on my own, but what do think is the average meal cost for a family of 4? I know it can vary tremendously, but what would your estimate be today? VBW x
Mmmmm, that’s right up my STRATA 😂😂,going to try that, mmmmmm😅😅😅❤❤❤
Hope you enjoy
I’m just about to eat this
I tried these, they are ok and tasty but not worth the money. He needs to go to Morrison’s and buy the pie mash and liquor, it’s really nice😊😊😊
I'm not sure the chilli flakes would stick to the coating if you had the sauce for dipping.
Yes don't think they would
Too much dosh for what you get….. You can get a whole bird and a bottle of chilli sauce for that much😂….You’re paying for the name with this one👍
I like the chicken AND the egg! 😋 ... But which to eat first?
I don't suppose chickens know how delicious they are? Or how delicious their eggs are? 🤣
I think it's safe to say that the welfare of the chickens is very low compared to here, so I bet Iceland got them on the cheep😅
Got these (with a different spice mix) last year and I was very disappointed.
Thailand chicken? 😁😁Thats 🐈
Defence of Thai chicken, it's no different from UK chicken, no cats 😊
Ohh hell no mate they looked good until I saw the origin of chicken 💀 that chicken has done more traveling then me 😂😂
7:38 Mhm! 7:57 Mhm! 8:47 Mhm!
I was going to try these, but due to certain conditions I couldn't give a toss.
Glad you like them, but seem a bit on the nose with the cost.
4 quid for some Thailand chicken...no thanks 😂
See the Diets going well. haha
They look okay but there is a lot of breadcrumb coating on them. Great stuff gaz….please tell me you’ve seen chip shop scraps on sale in M&S for £2!!!!!! What’s going on? Cheers pal
I've reviewed them 🤣👍
Found it mate I shouldn’t have doubted you of course you’ve already reviewed them they’re now double the price when you reviewed them 💰💰😂😂😂👌
I can see you are cooking .but where is the chef hat
Why don’t you weigh the product before cooking? Would be interesting to see how accurate the box weight is. 🤔
Iceland have just come out with a spicy pizza limited edition that is meant to be very hot
Cheers pal
