Introduction

About two years ago, we created a teardown video for the Xiaomi 67W GaN pudding charger, which left a deep impression on tech enthusiasts with its unique design, compact size, and high power density. Recently, Xiaomi has released its successor-the 120W version. Let's see how its charging compatibility holds up.

Finally, a USB-C charger. Because Xiaomi's powerful chargers were mostly with the old pre-flood USB-A port.. Food for thought.
my asus laptop Q408UG comes with a 65W usb-C adapter, but it still support charging about 96-97W with a 100W PowerBank, and about 86W with PD charger. FYI (if you need)

Phones, tablets, and notebooks tested, but I was hoping to learn whether this will actually quickcharge at least some of the more common puddings.
crazy,
Iqoo claimed from iqoo neo 7 pro it can support PD 3.0 at 65 watss!
No Teardown? I cant really tell if this is a good or bad charger tbh cause it does seem like it can hit the 100-120+ mark probably through certain xiaomi devices, but it doesnt seem like it can do the high speed handshakes w/ non xiaomi devices yet it will do the weird volt/amp combinations that laptops & handhelds ask of a charger.
For teardown check the corresponding video about 65W pudding charger, not a big difference tho.
It has 65W PD, and 120W Hypercharge, and if try to charge some Oppo device with it that also supports PD 65W, but their own protocol for faster charging, you'll get only 65W output. If it doesn't have any PD support, then it takes 5V/1.5A for base and then applies combination with supported handshakes (but no one guarantees that it'll be compatible with different batteries)
xiaomi redmi phones ?
PD?
65 watts
@@robertobokarev439I am asking if this 120watts have power delivery
@@LameXcuzes No, 120w charging is only Xiaomi compatible thru their cables with 5-th pin
