      Yet not a single person pipes up saying he is a bad breed. Yet if we seen a video of him playing with a child the internet loses its mind. I have Pitt cross staff with some mastiff in him and he is so soft wanting belly rubs and scratches from our young son. Their bond is something special. It's strange how he plays gentle with Riley and yet gets a bit more aggressive with me when he wants to.

      i never want to hear anyone say that pit bulls are a "bad breed". I've grown up with pits my whole life and they are much like humans in the aspect of giving respect and getting it back. Anyone that says they are a bad breed either has no idea wtf they are talking about or never owned a pit. I've had multiple relationships with all different types of dogs and through my experience i have noticed the most loyal ones are pit bulls.

      Pit bulls are the best breed. Yes they have the power, and in the wrong hands can be dangerous, but for pit bulls they are the most loyal dog breed which makes them easy targets for maggots.

      Except for the part where it's cut & montaged to make it look that way. Like how at 0:54 ceasar has a blue leash in his backpocket, then by 0:59 that blue leash, AND a black one, are both lying in front of the dog. By 1:30 the black one has disappeared alltogether, but the blue one is still lying in it's secondary position. At 1:41 the disappeared black leash has found it's way into ceasar's hand. Then by 1:45 that blue leash has moved AGAIN and it is clearly shown NOT to be the dog moving it.
      Or like how junior is following them at 2:33 then at 2:36 junior is already standing outside. Then between 2:37 and 2:38 the leash on the dog magically turns from red to black.
      Or like how Ceasar is holding the broom while walking outside. By 2:37 you can see he's walking over to put the broom against the wall. At 2:38 he's just holding it again. At 2:42 the broom is leaning against the wall. Then at 2:45 he's just holding it again. So in 5 seconds he supposedly walked over to that wall, put the broom against it, had the dogs sniffing eachother while he was standing a few meters away from it, then walked back over to it, grabbed it again, to get in his pose by 2:45. Right...
      There's a massive amount of poorly executed viewer manipulation and untruthful cutting/montaging going on in this, and it's really easy to spot aswell.... Not sure how people are getting fooled by this...

      This is literally how every show like this edits, the whole situation probably took around 5-10 minutes and it was cut down.
      It's not 'viewer manipulation' and 'untruthful cutting', the basic premise was given and the whole story was told in the best way possible with the limited time available. The directers and producers who cut and edit these videos aren't evil, scheming vermin that try to manipulate the viewer, and most of the time, they are given hours of footage which they need to cut down into 10 minutes because that fits the shows timerun in the most clear cut and interesting way possible. (or however long)
      Back when Cesar was on his previous show "The Dog Whisperer", they always displayed the elapsed total time of the process, but they would still cut the same way.

      +Frankske Verstraeten Unfortunately, the show is cut for ratings and income.. Not for the purpose of a dogs well being. What you described appears in every show, whether real life or fictitious. It's a mishmash of cuts and edits with mismatched scenes... Think about it.. if Cesar didn't do what he claims he does.. this show wouldn't exist and he would've been found out by now. So put your cynicism aside!

    Cesar made so many good decisions in this video:
    1. He decided not to go alone so he brought Junior.
    2. He decided he needed to touch the dog but it was too dangerous so he came up with the idea of the broom.
    3. Loses his leash and quickly thinking on his feet and used Junior's.

    The next time someone says that Pit Bulls have a bad temperament, show them this video. Way to go, Junior! Now because they were bred to be farm, hunting, and fighting dogs to deal with animals like bulls, deer, hogs, and other animals, prey drive and a more confrontational nature against other animals is not out of the ordinary, but if someone says that Pit Bulls are crazy, unpredictable, or dangerous, you can show them Pit Bulls like Junior here. They are strong, brave, and tough but also friendly and social dogs especially to people.

    • @TheTraveler980
      @TheTraveler980 Před 7 lety +7

      Mhm, the only reason that stigma of "pit bulls being naturally aggressive" even existed was how consistently the breed was chosen to be raised for fights, and then it affected others into picking pitbulls to guard their homes without much regard to their well being.

    • @GO-GO_SO-SO
      @GO-GO_SO-SO Před 7 lety +8

      ***** It's much more complicated than that. Lack of information, misinformation, breed ,misidentification, and irresponsible ownership are the true reasons. Pit Bulls guarding homes is not really a problem. Other breeds are used to guard homes also. It is when someone is irresponsible with the guard dog that bad things can happen to lead to negative stigma.

    • @TheTraveler980
      @TheTraveler980 Před 7 lety

      ***** I know, I made an example.

    • @GO-GO_SO-SO
      @GO-GO_SO-SO Před 7 lety +1

      ***** Yeah, I know. But I would have phrased it differently. The consistent misinformation on fighting and the Am Pit Bull breed is one major reason for the negative stigma. Simply the fact that they have been used for fighting is not really a problem considering that these problems are quite recent, and the AmPit Bull has been used for fighting for a much longer time with no real negatives to society. It wasn't until the media and others started to give it negative coverage and give out false information about the sport and the dogs involved that things started taking a turn for the worse. They helped put the dogs into irresponsible and/or abusive hands by painting the dogs as aggressive fighting machines which appealed to people already looking for that kind of dog that would raise it and train it that way to make it behave that way. By giving false information about how people train and care for fighting dogs, such as using stray dogs or cats or taking people's pets to be attacked by their dogs or that dogs are treated cruelly and made to be aggressive, they created people that would train and raise their dogs like that.

    • @GO-GO_SO-SO
      @GO-GO_SO-SO Před 7 lety +1

      ***** Yep. Bad people = bad dogs. Though their is nothing wrong with someone wanting a Pit Bull to protect their physical selves. I don't think you are a bad person if you want that. That's one of the things they would do for you automatically anyway. I think most people with a Pit Bull (any dog really) would want their dog to be there to protect them if their physical selves are in danger. I think that those types of people would be more likely to treat their dogs better since they rely on them for security. I would even say that helping their ego is not that bad either. Just because someone wants something to maybe help their image does not necessarily mean they are poorly taking care of it.

    You have to understand.....Cesar is literally one in several hundred million. He rehabilitates dogs from a psychological point of view, not usually from a correction standpoint. Go to any dog training facility in your area and almost all of them teach the correction method (correction collar/treat training/even that stupid pinch collar). All of those places I've asked why not teach from Cesar's point of view and most of them give me the run around because they were prideful....but a few of them tole me straight up: what he does and how he does it in the amount of time is unheard of. He's called the Dog Whisperer for a reason. Sure there are trainers out there that do what Cesar does..,,,but most take weeks or months to accomplish what he can do in a day.

      3. Loses his leash and quickly thinking on his feet and used Junior's.
