Putting your t-shirts away like file folders is genius! I usually wear the top shirts over and over, forgetting the ones on the bottom. Your way I can see all my shirts/sweaters and have more room too! I can't wait to re-do my bureau drawers! Thank you!

Awesome video!! I love the tip for folding tank tops. I have to try it. I've been folding my T-shirts like that ( I use a different method but get the same effect ) for awhile and I love having them neat in the drawer. So easy to find the one I want :)

We use that same tank top method to bundle our kids clothes while traveling. We put a hole outfit together and hold it all together with the fold. Then, when we pack it, I put a bundle for each of the kids in 1 ziplock bag and label the whole thing Monday, tues, etc etc. this is ESPECIALLY helpful when we go camping!;-). Keeps it so much easier to grab 1 bag each day instead of rummaging through a whole suitcase for each persons outfit!;-)

Another great video Kathryn - also love the t-shirt folding, thanks for the tips I'm going to give the t-shirt folding a try...I did a DIY folding board, but for time saving I think your method is so much better. Love the tank top idea! I showed my son how to do the hanger trick a while ago, and he puts like a dozen shirts on his arm and tossed them all on hangers in under a minute.

The tank top trick would be a huge space saver while packing for trips (then put them in plastic bags and stuff them into shoes)! Thanks so much for that one...especially since I in fact do have a "squillion" tank tops!lol
the tank top one is what they use in the army when folding there coats to use less room in there bag my dad used that method alot xx

My husband does a similar roll on his uniform t-shirts. The Army calls it a ranger roll! Such a space saver!

My socks are my favorite to fold it's the same with the tank top just fold half way and pull on end over the pair it must be a straight line to put side by side and I also have an organizer that I picked up at bed bath and beyond it ranges from ankle length to knee high and winter fuzzy socks and sport socks I hardly where them since I don't go to school anymore but during winter I do wear them or when I actually wear sneakers and not flats

The only concern I honestly have is... I have some lace and some plain but they're the same color like two white and two black so I don't know how I would know which ones have lace and which ones don't but for real... Would I care? I'll just wear whatever I pull out!!

I've also seen that crazy flip find for t shirts and b never thought to practice it but it seems so worth it!!! So I can do it on the bed sitting down watching tv!

I know what you mean about the lace thing...I just put those in the back of the drawer so I know where they are. And sometimes I get surprised with a lacey one :) Either way, worth it to me. xo!! ;)

Great tips! Makes me want to start folding my laundry! :) In my home, for the family socks and underwear, everyone has a bin (the tall narrow wrapping paper roll bins - saves space -goes vertical instead of horizontal) and when the socks and underwear come out of the dryer, I drop them into the appropriate bin. This way, if I have not had a chance to sort through and fold all those little garments, I can find them in a jiffy. :)))

I like folding hub's tshirts with a homemade folding board I made out of cardboard & packing tape. Then I just fold that again in half, and put them in the drawer as you do. I can get so many more shirts in, & he can see the design on them to choose without shuffling. Love the tanktop fold you have!

I like your tank top's method and that lady's hanger's method. The other 2 methods I knew already, but haven't been using them, because I've been rolling our clothes instead of folding them... Maybe I should start using the first method (the one your mother's showed you) agin!!!!
I've finally used your binder folding tee shirts method to fold my hubby's tee shirt... I'm truly amazed of how much more spaces his drawers have left now. Great discovery! The only downside is, he doesn't want to do the folding, so unless I have full control of that, his drawers will turn back to the messy form within a short period of time :-( So basically, it's a matter of if I could stand his messiness ;-)

Using the rolling method on your camis, does it work for regular tank tops as well??? I should try it instead of asking, but I am watching CZcams videos, lol....

Omg been doing these techniques for years, except the book, if I use that tech I just eyeball it. But, even my tea shirt draw looks like yours except I fold tee shirts in half one more time.
