Someone once said in the music business an active artist can’t manage other artist. Idc what no one say she will never allow them or any artist under her to exceed. I ain’t in the music industry but one thing I know from working in corporate America is the mark of a great leader is how many other leaders they create.

I always said that Chloe and Halle wouldn't get far when I learned they were signed to Parkwood. There is NO WAY she would allow them to exceed her. One must understand that when Beyonce noticed the fact that they had a great singing ability, she used the "capture and kill" method.

Quiet as it’s kept Jay z has the same problem. In Kanye’s documentary it showed how Jay z never believed in him being a rapper, he wanted him only to be a producer. It took Kanye getting recognition outside his label for them to sign him. And he DID NOT discover Rihanna. She was discovered by a Evan Rogers (a white music producer) on holiday in Barbados and was brought to Jay z. Roc nation has alot of artists they’ve missed managed or let go. For example, Doja Cat used to be signed to Roc Nation they did nothing for her, as soon as she left she became more successful. J Cole has also spoke about Roc Nation not managing him correctly after leaving them.
Mariah Carey also left Roc Nation! I think she did her Caution album while with them, great album, but yeah, I hear artist are not to happy signed with Roc Nation ?

if you do the math, given that they produce an album each year that’s 166k per year/album. I heard that before Chloe released her album she did a poll for her fans to choose between two songs, for which one will be featured on her album I believe. Majority of her fans chose one song they all really liked, and she ended up making a video coming back saying Beyoncé liked the OTHER song better. I found that weird. Why would you ask for your fans input if you are not going to strongly consider their opinion. And if this is about sales and success shouldn’t the people who support you opinions matter above all???

I wonder if she got approval from the label to give the fans a sneak peek and opinion. The label going with the other song may have been a smack down.
Chloe's problem is she's alienated her core fan base. They told her the song contents and the overly sexual direction she's moving in they weren't cool with. But they were haters for telling her the truth. There was even a fan page that deactivated their Instagram page because her people would constantly complain and request they remove "negative" (really honest) feedback folks had. If your going for the sexy route coming from an wholesome clean image you have to ease your way into it. Chloe also has actual talent (unlike some of the girls) and we've watched her grow into an amazing artist so the overly sexual moves, clothing, and songs is unnecessary.
The good girl gone bad thing worked for many artists ie. Rihanna, Britney Spears (I'm a slave 4 u), Miley Cyrus (whether you hated her or not, she made impact)...Idk why it doesn't really work in Chloe's case. It's like it comes off as inauthentic in a sense. It's like sexy but without edge? i'm not sure...anyways I hope she finds her lane.

Then following up with I’m a Slave and Toxic was just chef’s kiss in catapulting her career. I think it would have been better and more believable if Chloe came out with a sensual song about love. Maybe a duet with another male artist and the music video shows them dancing salsa or bachata. Then with each single make it a tad more sexual. It probably would have helped if she changed her hair like RiRi and Miley.

Just she shouldn’t overly do it because her fans don’t like that image for her. Like her fans seemed to like “Have Mercy” I myself included loved the whole Medusa concept. Like the nudity in that MV felt necessary to the whole Medusa concept, so when the music video for “Treat Me” came out I noticed the comment section didn’t really like it, like even I was surprised by how overtly sexualized it was. Any skin showing in that MV felt unnecessary. Similar to how on Euphoria people didn’t like the 2nd season because all the nudity felt unnecessary which is what turned a large portion of the audience away from the show in the first place. I think it’s just the fact that she tries so hard, she def needs to take a step back and work on her image leave roc nation and find a better record label. Both her and Halle need to find one that can manage them better, or get back together cause I felt they broke apart too soon.

This gave me a new perspective on Beyoncé. I would never sign to an artist’s who is still working. Being who she is, these new artist thought they would be okay. I can see why people are choosing to be independent. Under a label, you have to wait and get permission to do anything. Chloe’s album took 3 years to drop while she put out fire singles. Those singles should have been on her album to give it a bigger push up the list. Also, I know artists travel and sleep on a bus but to sleep in a van and eat McDonald’s under Beyoncé’s label sounds crazy to me.
I literally think its better for artists to go independent. They own the rights to their own music. Plus they don't need permission went to drop their album. I hear so many stories & watch videos about artists having trouble with their labels. It's literally insane. Beyonce & Jay-Z don't seem to be watching out for their artists like Yo Gotti does. That 6 album contract is the same contract Jojo signed and couldn’t get out of for years. She was stuck in the contract as she was obligated to release 6 albums but the label wouldn’t even release any of her albums so for years she was 4 albums behind and stuck in a contract. She finally got out of it because a lawyer realized that a minor cannot be in a contract for longer than I believe 6 years. Took her 14 years but she was finally free. I feel bad for these kids signing contracts not knowing they’re gonna be stuck in it for years and years if the label won’t release an album.
Lil wayne might be the only working artist that actually knows how to do it all. The artists he housed under YMCMB are still working and topping charts to this day....

I've said for years that Beyonce has a limited education so I don't know why people would think she is business mogul material. She's barely literate and her success came from her father's management - and in the beginning Wyclef's astute moves in producing hits for DC and marketing them as young adults as opposed to teens fresh out of high school. Unpopular opinion: The label pushing her to be a sex siren is what ruined her image and star quality 🤷🏾♀️ That image is beneath her, she beautiful, young and talented but she NEEDS a good girl image like her sister because of their FACES. Shit Queen Bee to my knowledge never shows trashy slore behavior and if she DOES its done in a CLASSY way. But when that demon get in you I guess Chole had no control but she should've never went that route IMO💯
Beyoncé does not want that girl to out shine her…after she made her sound like her and dance like her…there is only room for one Beyoncé…she has to find her own sound and identity and leave that label and then fly high
