Bagalur Cross Station : U girder Done. Concourse i-girders done. Platform i-giders in progress

Karnataka has started planning for second Airport. They should also plan for connecting this airport other wise it would inconvience for people who want to catch connecting flights bw this airport. Problem with our govt is that they dont include public transportation accessibility when they plan to build infrastructure.

@@mysterious_billionaire 2026 is the deadline may be max by 2027 they will open .In 2025 I am hoping silk board to kr puram line might open I see good progress in that line.Let us hope all the infrastucture projects complete asap and help the city to get out of this traffic issue and bring back the glory of BLR ❤️😊

@@mysterious_billionaire yes let hope they start the work early.👍 By this year end we should see that green line extension and yellow line metro opens to public then it will benefit many people also next year pink will open then around 125kms of metro track will be operational

This is the fastest it has ever been. I dont know what you are expecting. But civil works take time. by any metro standards this is good pace, thanks to pre cast elements used.

Will the new proposed yelahanka suburban railway station integrated to yelahanka/kogilu metro station?
@@rohithd5868 nope. There is none envisaged since the distance is quite much n road is already narrow for a foot over bridge. Yelahanka suburban though will be junction for both airport line n heelalige-rajanukunte line
What will the people in Hunesmaranahalli, Vidyanagar and Bettahalasur do to access the metro network? Will Embassy Group/BMTC or BMRCL arrange for feeder bus service for this purpose?
Moreover, Bengaluru city is likely to expand to around 1000 sq km in future, even officially.
Bettahalasuru one should ideally have been done. Anyways Embassy seemed to have backed out after multiple follow ups.
Any updates on yellow and pink line?
Can we expect tunneling to be completed by October end and the entire pink line atleast by August 2025?
Will the yellow line be further delayed?
October end for pink line does not look so since they are having issues with tunneling in the final stretch. Having said that BEML trains will have to be delivered for pink line to start. so there is some time left for the stations and tunnels to finish. Yellow line is under testing. Once more trains join in next month from Titagarh , then full fledged testing of signalling can happen.

@@haneesh__1 ORR line can , they started 6 months in advance and are progressing well. All system contracts are in place. If BMRCL goes all out doable.

@@gamerartificial7208 nope. Bangalore metro all lines including airport one are powered by third rail . So no over head masts anywhere
What about Jakkur Plantation, between Jakkur and Yelahanka? Is there any hope, atleast after the metro is complete?
Even the latest article said the same. But Not sure what is the plan now since most viaduct and piers are built normally. Possibly they may add later.

@@gamerartificial7208 earlier this was location of bettahalasuru station. These holes are provided for cabling ( signaling, traction power ) to be routed to station control / near by sub station. Provisioned at cast time to avoid drilling later
It will be one big fight when they bring all the lugage into the train 😂😂
In the DPR they have mentioned some luggage racks will be made available. Also they should engage with KIA and have city side check in counters at say Silk board , KR Pura and Hebbal . This will help immensely.

@@vijethkumar6549 still to get possession. Both side of IAF Underpass they have piled for cross over pier n service road. High time package 3 gets this. This is the only hold up on their part
In airport line what will be the distance netween 2 station's ?.I heard this line is not like delhi metro airport express line .
Till Yelahanka its like normal spacing of metro. After that stations are spaced apart to cut down travel time. only Bagalur cross, Chikkajala , Doddajala after that before arriving at Airport city station and ultimately Airport terminal metro station.

In the last airport terminal station will the station will be between two terminal connected by Skywalk?

As per the plan available, it is close to the location on the infographic.
@@SunilHP Thank you for the reply! I presume it's not possible to know any further based on construction since they have not yet started work on the station itself? Is there anyway to tell based on type of pillar etc.?
@@p__1-1__d No this would be an grade station , so till they start work we will not know :-) Tenders were called sometime back by KIAL. Not sure whether it was awarded. Let me see if I can check through some sources.
