Deep in Siberia's Taiga forest is Vissarion, a cult leader who looks like Jesus and claims to be the voice of God. He's known as "the Teacher" to his 4,000 followers, who initially seem surprisingly normal. Over time, however, their unflinching belief in UFOs and the Earth's imminent demise made this group start to look more and more like some sort of strange cult.

He did not separate himself in fact he lived among people and ate with them. He could have got a horse and have his many disciples decorate garments to dress the horse and ride into Jerusalem like a King but instead he chose a donkey. If Jesus wanted to be superior, he would have stayed in heaven where he had legions of angels to serve him according to his words and he would not have let his enemies crucify him because he had the power to stop it. He would have showed his superiority. The whole point of the gospel is that he lowered himself from his superior divine nature to take on weakly human flesh. He did not act superior, he was just the one with the message and so people came to hear it.

Is it ever written connected to end times? I've read about false prophets who will come in His name but I thought it meant continually, not at any specific point in time. Still, this is not good, and this man is deceiving many people, exactly what Jesus warned us about.

I always wanted to live in a close community in the country with simple life, but lack of health care and especially access to dental care is a deal breaker for me. I imagine if person gets sick or need dental care, they just do chanting and singing. Plus there no alcohol and its my medicine for lots of things.

I used to be agnostic and I was always questioning about the purpose of life and how we are here and I always wondered if there was a God or not. I went through a period where I was trying to find purpose and fulfillment in something and that was getting money and becoming a better version of myself. I was chasing it and I realized that it would also pass away anyway and that it doesn’t make sense for money or grinding to be my purpose. Not saying money is bad but it’s definitely not the purpose of life. But eventually I got more hooked into God and who the higher power really was and I actually had a supernatural encounter with the highest power and I can tell you it is Jesus is and that day I had it, it changed me and my heart from that day forever. It was the most joyful and at peace that I have ever felt in my entire life. I can tell you that Jesus can do the same for you and he can help you through anything you are facing now. Jesus is the one that can fufill your true purpose in life. Following Jesus is not about a religion but a relationship with him. And Life is temporary and so is everything we chase on is as well but what is eternal, is your eternal life in heaven, and Jesus is the only way to get there. I believe that if you truly with your heart call on him he will reveal himself to you all. God bless you all
Amen. I used to do that too. I remember I used to sit on my chair outside my house at night looking to the sky and the stars. And I would wonder what was the purpose of life. I knew about God and eternal life, but the idea of living forever, like this, would honestly get me depressed even more than thinking of dying. And I would wish I was never born.
One day though, I met Jesus. My life became all about Him. I would go around town preaching about Him. I started calling everyone I knew, family, friends, I even when to my school and preach to my old teachers. I fell so in love with Jesus. It's been over 15 years and my love for Him keeps growing and growing. Now eternity won't be long enough. With Jesus, everything makes sense!

Everything you have just said describes my experience for about 8 years. I went from being a secular humanist, to being agnostic then a flirted with new age spirituality for a while, I thought I was on the right path until i encountered Jesus a year ago. No words can explain how much joy I felt. My soul had been liberated and I was so much at peace. There's nowhere else I would rather be than in God's presence for ever.
Yes. I had an encounter as well all alone in my vehicle. Received the gift of speaking in tongues and a super natural knowing that Jesus is the way & at the time i was on dialysis and a supernatural knowing came to me to not worry about my kidneys. 2 months later I received a Kidney transplant after 3 years of dialysis & also only 2 months after returning back to God.

After all, The Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion confirms that in Jewish idiom “Son of God” is clearly metaphorical. To quote, “Son of God, term occasionally found in Jewish literature, biblical and post-biblical, but nowhere implying physical descent from the Godhead.”[1] Hasting’s Bible Dictionary comments:
In Semitic usage “sonship” is a conception somewhat loosely employed to denote moral rather than physical or metaphysical relationship. Thus “sons of Belial” (Jg 19:22 etc.) are wicked men, not descendants of Belial; and in the NT the “children of the bridechamber” are wedding guests. So a “son of God” is a man, or even a people, who reflect the character of God. There is little evidence that the title was used in Jewish circles of the Messiah, and a sonship which implied more than a moral relationship would be contrary to Jewish monotheism.[2]
And in any case, the list of candidates for “son of God” begins with Adam, as per Luke 3:38: “...Adam, which was the son of God.”
Those who rebut by quoting Matthew 3:17 (“And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved son, in whom I am well pleased’”) have overlooked the point that the Bible describes many people, Israel and Adam included, as “sons of God.” Both II Samuel 7:13-14 and I Chronicles 22:10 read, “He (Solomon) shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his Father, and he shall be My son.”
Entire nations are referred to as sons, or children of God. Examples include:
Genesis 6:2, “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men…”
Genesis 6:4, “There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men…”
Deuteronomy 14:1, “Ye are the children of the Lord your God.”
Job 1:6, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD…”
Job 2:1, “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD…”
Job 38:7, “When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
Philippians 2:15, “that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation…”
1 John 3:1-2, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! … Beloved, now we are children of God…”
In Matthew 5:9 Jesus says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Later in Matthew 5:45, Jesus prescribed to his followers the attainment of noble attributes, “that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” Not exclusively his Father, but their Father …

Before Jesus was born he held the title of being the true son of god the promise God gave Abraham.
Luke 1:32: “He will be called great and will be called the Son of the Most High.”
Luke 1:35: “...therefore the child to be born will be called holy-the Son of God.”
The Virgin Birth shows that this is Gods child as no man has been born from a virgin.
