Moonshine never fails. Picked up a new heritage 114 and only them can make the big numbers.
Need to hear that puppy idle soon. Wonder if power vision already has a tune for it.
Great video. Cheers
What's Ur opinion on a 2023 Stock Cam plate and oil pump.?
How do I get one of the cam sprockets? I don’t see them on your website?
I have a 2019 CVO SG, (117 motor) I installed a RS 472 cam, with all of the additional upgrades, I'm producing 133ft lbs of toq, with about 113 HP, I'm wondering if Installed the MHP 485 cam what would I be able to get out of the bike in terms of Toq and HP (if anything) I also have TAB performance exhaust with Zombie baffles ----your thought's--thanks in advance.
What tuner did it have? Or you recommend?
What exhaust & air cleaner u guys use?
Why no new lifters/tappets? Just curious. Also that high of lift should probably need new upgraded valve springs? Not sure if I’m correct or not just a question. Appreciate any feedback you can give. Nice video.
the MHP 485 is actually a collaboration between George Bryce at Star Racing and Moonshine HD, it's a Star Racing 30 / 30 cam, the 485 is as high as you can go without having to replace the stock valve springs, so, the answer is, no, you do not need to replace your stock valve springs, ride safe
No issue with the stock (plastic) cuffs ! Bwahahah the fact that they are plastic at all is the issue . But maybe that’s just my opinion
What throttle body manifold did you guys go with?? Those are strong numbers.
Harley-Davidson 64mm throttle body and H-D 64mm intake manifold.
@@MoonshineHarley thanks for the quick response!
Great video thank you !
Could you please list down all the items you reccomend to replace for an ideal bullet proof stage 2?
I'm thinking of S&S 465C Cam, pump, plate, lifters, bearing, Tappet cuffs, tensioner combined with Fueling pushrods, crank sprocket and shorty sum plug + HD Screaming eagle 64mm manifold with throttle body?
My trike is a freewheeler 2018 M8 107.
Thank you so much ✌️
great list!! you're going to find that the 64mm throttle body and manifold are too big / large for a 107, I did the stage II and used most of the parts you mentioned, I went with the Star Racing 30 / 30 cam, which has 485 lift and is a "bolt in" cam so you can use your stock valve springs, you didn't mention if you plan on changing your injectors? I assume so if you're going to a large TB, good luck with the build
Ok, nood question here, why does changing the cam profile changes the power figures? 🤔
A engine is just an air pump the more air in and out the more power changing a cam allows the valves to open further and stay open longer there for increasing airflow making more power
@@dylancrowder3030 thanks!
How much is to do that upgrade?
Moonshine will "probably" charge you about $6K for a stage II based on earlier comments I've read on their pricing, they're expensive, I would recommend sourcing your parts, I purchased most of mine from Fuel Moto and finding a local builder to do the install, I would recommend going with new lifters as well though, not sure why they did not in this build, Fuel Moto carries the Star Racing 30 / 30 cam which is the same as the MHP 485
Not used to seeing numbers that low on this channel lol 😆
Had to give the 107 guys some horsepower too haha
Another 30/30 video
Thanks!
How come you didn’t measure run out? Please clarify which camshaft you are using? Title and technician do not match up.
Clarify that this cam is a drop in and will not require separate valve springs . Thank you
MHP 485, that’s what comes with our stage II kit! Got it mixed up in the title 😂
Title says 492 cam but you used a 485 🙄
It’s MHP 485 Cam. We were running our nitrous bike today so might have been in the dyno a little long before making the title 😂
@@MoonshineHarley I’ve been waiting to see a 492 128 build.
@@dwight072we’ve got one coming up 👌
492? Where at? Lame.
MHP 485 with this one. We’ll get that cam in the next one 👊
