There is a warm fuzzy thing about the Seiko's , they are like coming home when you were a kid and seeing your old dog waiting for you.Hard to explain.
My father taught me to love the 36mm Datejust. It should not be compared to the sports models. It’s just its own elegant piece, and so good to wear all day. I have large wrists (not chuncky) and it’s still a great look. I get it now.
I own an Omega AT black dial myself. Such an underrated watch! Glad to see it getting some love on your channel

That Omega Aqua Terra golf edition is possibly the only watch anyone would ever need. It really is a watch for all occassions. Beautiful watch. 👍

Agreed. If the wearer moves the watch behind the wrist bone (further up the wrist toward the elbow) it wears better IMHO. YMMV
It’s true that some people get hung up in the case dominating the wrist and forget the beauty of the bracelet.

It fits perfectly. 36 is a deceptive number when talking about Rolex. The long fluid lugs and the nature of the Oyster case make it completely fine. Better than the 41 imo; better proportions.
@@DrRolexPhD for skinny midgets yea but real men wear men size 41mm and up. my girl wears 36mm. Me being 6’3 ft tall and built like a line backer would say watches are not one size fits all
What a great 3 parts, with some cracking watches! Great to see Seiko thrown in with Omega, Rolex and the like. Add some great wine and whiskey to the mix, and it equals some great viewing! Keep up the good work.

Great video Oisin, the Aqua Terra Omegas are one of my favourites. I have the discontinued AT white dial flat dial GMT in titanium I picked up some time ago with the blue hands and markers with the date at 6. One of my favourites second to my also discontinued Constellation Globemaster Pie Pan that looks a teal colour in some lighting. These watches get overlooked a tad until they are discontinued. I'll be keeping mine for as long as I can. Great to see you have the Paarrlm frondz Datejust as it has become part of the channel. You have it now and can justify your views on it, not that you needed to of course.

I went into Omega to try on the latest sapphire sandwich Speedy and was not 100% sure so tried on the green dial Aqua Terra and loved it. Seeing that same watch on your wrist on Instagram was enough for me to press the button and make the purchase, thank you 👍

Love your reviews and vids!! Agree about the Explorer and can't imagine wearing the 36mm myself... maybe for my wife. I sold my Exp II 16570 Polar because it was just to small for my 8" wrist... even though I loved it. I don't think I can swing buying the newer Exp II 42mm Polar, although I'd love to get one. Just not for current secondhand prices.

Green dial omega aqua terra 8900 is gorgeous. I have the same watch with the grey dial as my dress watch. Aqua terra is a great watch. Chose it over the Rolex DJ41 and don't regret it whatsoever. My only criticism is that I wish the bracelet had a micro adjustment.. Enjoy your content btw.

I have a 20.3 cm wrist and I have had a couple of 34 mm Rolex, air king and oyster date. They fit and look great to me.
I am still a big fan of the Yachtmaster II. Not my most expensive, but certainly my favorite. You either love it or hate it, it is a very polarizing watch. Nice collection. I really like the time, effort, and style you put into your videos.
Nice vid. I sold my 39 explorer as like you felt a bit small. Have an AK now which is a better fit for me.

Great presentation!! You might take a look at the Glashutte Sea Q Panorama date. Just picked one up on bracelet black dial. it’s an amazing piece. The fit and finish is fantastic exhibition case back and the movement rivals the Zenith in my opinion.
Give it some time. In a few years, bourbon and rye whiskey will taste good, and you'll be drinking Old Fashions.

I like the newer AquaTerra for my money but think I might have to go for the 38mm if getting one as I have 6.75 inch wrists vs your tree trunks. Curious if you’ve seen the AquaTerra world timer? It has a spectacular dial!

Nice Seikos. I have a 36 m Oyster Perpetual. Never wear it, too small on my wrist.
As you say, it's because you're used to wearing a larger watch but in my view, it fits you perfectly.
