What’s up LXGEND ? Very quick question. I have a set of Mackie CR3 Speakers & a macbook pro for my home studio. What is the best way to playback your audio ? Running an Aux from the headphone jack to the monitors or through the audio interface to the monitors ? Would love to hear back from you pretty soon.
so you use Maschine to record vocals as well? and what do you use to mix/master the whole track when its done? ive bee learning studio one 4, but if i can do it all in maschine that would be dope
Thanks for another great video. Im using a M audio 49 keyboard and My daw is LogicPro. Im thinking about getting the Maschine mark 3, because I like hitting on pads. Thats the main reason I want it. Im still learning Logic and don't want to take time to learn the Daw in Maschine. In your opinion, should I get the Maschine for the pads, or something else. Also I like your desk, is it from guitar center? if it is, is it the small one or larger one?
No. If you just want pads I recommend you get something a fraction of the cost for such. If you’re just using it for the controller. In my opinion it would be a waste of money to buy a $600 maschine only to degrade it to just a midi controller. You’re better off at getting an AKAI MPD218 if that’s all you need. It’s 1/6th the cost. $100. Whenever I make these videos I always forget to mention my desk lol. It’s from guitar center yes. Studio Trends 46 inch.

Whats the stereo adapter you use for the headphones jack on your interface? They do suck. No dynamic range. Worse with editing audio. Never said everyone needs to have money to buy an interface or an XLR mic and no, not all of them are expensive. Some good quality ones are just as cheap as a usb mic. That said, they can buy whatever they want, but still won’t be as good as a normal studio mic.
IAMLXGEND well, the good xlr stuff is more expensive than usb of course, but usb is also fine to start with, depends on what people use them for, for rapping, i know they’re good, at least some of them, with that being said, i will also buy a bluebird or an NT1A from Rode soon.
I hope you reply to this, and I’m sure you said it in the video but what program do you use or what program is best to get the most out of making music?
Lol... if you’re sure I’m said in the video why don’t you watch it? I always respond to comments but I’ll be honest with you man, I don’t like when people ask questions that I’ve already answered in the video because then it shows me they don’t actually watch the video lol... Anyway, I use Maschine to make beats and Garageband to record vocals. It depends what your workflow and production style is and what you’re trying to make.
A midi what? Keyboard? There currently are no keyboard with drum pads included that come with production software if you mean a DAW. Only stuff like reverbs and such. The only hardware that comes with a full production software is native Instruments products. But none of them have keys AND drum pads. You’ll have to choose which you prefer.
Idk. Never used it. If you prefer having drum pads over keys, sure. But for $150 more you can get a Maschine Mikro MK3 that comes WITH a DAW and software included.
Uh, I don’t know if I just completely missed it but, the thing under the monitor screen (not the studio monitors), anyone care to explain what that is? More inputs? External compression/effects module? I have no clue.
I hope you all accomplish your music dreams.
No. I quit music job. Being a driver is better. Now I can force the passengers to listen to my music all time during the route.

Does the machine mk3 comes with ableton?
And does that native instruments keyboard also comes with a software?
No. The Maschine mk3 comes with Maschine. Lol. And the keyboard comes with Maschine. They both come with the software.
Glamorous job bro,,,,I have been thinking of setting up one...kindly show the requirements for studio and there prices
Thanks in advance
Check the description for prices.
I wanna buy a Midiplus drum pad controller that has the software already, which one would you recommend for beginners setting up a home studio.
IAMLXGEND I want to buy a Akai Professional MPD2018 Midi drum pad controller, is it worth it?
Idk. Never used it. If you prefer having drum pads over keys, sure. But for $150 more you can get a Maschine Mikro MK3 that comes WITH a DAW and software included.
I just ordered 2 Mackie MR 524 monitors. I'm new to this and wanna know what's to best way to connect them? Through a mixer? I'm confused. lol
I connect mine through the audio interface via RCA stereo pair in the back.
@@IAMLXGEND I also have the Scarlett Solo. So I can connect both monitors to it?
You’ll need the connectors for it but yes.
Uh, I don’t know if I just completely missed it but, the thing under the monitor screen (not the studio monitors), anyone care to explain what that is? More inputs? External compression/effects module? I have no clue.
Seb Pal that’s a preamp
A Behringer preamp. I always forget to mention that when I do these videos.
Yeah I’m learning from you
Glad to hear it
