Some feedback:
Please show how to enable Loop Tools first!
Also mention the changes between the three buttons next to the "Edit mode" dropdown in the top left corner. There are moments when you switch between the Select Modes and you don't mention them.
After the two minute mark, my sword ended up very crooked, I probably did something wrong of course but as a complete beginner it's really important that I can follow every step.
Apart from that, it was an interesting tutorial, and I might try again some other time when I feel less defeated.
Yes, I'm not a complete beginner so I understood how to do stuff that wasn't shown or mentioned, but this isn't really a "beginner's" tutorial. Interesting nonetheless.
For those who are stuck:
Preferences > Add-ons and then search Mesh: Loop Tools to enable!
This tutorial is amazing, thank you so much! You have a very calm and clear way of teaching, thank you :)
i really like this thank you
Thank you for the feedback

Tsym bro
Great little guide, the key info in the corner was a nice touch.
Keep it up!
Thank you! :D
I’m new to blender when I press w to insert the circle face it doesn’t do anything makes my curser Change
If you're default selection key is LMB, you should be able to open the menu with your RMB. Let me know if this worked. So we can troubleshoot if it didn't.
@@tengertechnologies what do you mean what do I do with the pop up menu from RMB
Now you need to choose "LoopTools" and then "Circle". If the option "LoopTools" isn't available, you have to enable the addon. You can do that if you go to "Edit->Preferences->Add-ons" (In the menu on top), then search for "LoopTools" and then enable it.
Thank you I have made it past it now I have learned a lot of new tools from this video I Apreciate the fast responses
Nice, thank you for watching! I wish you all the best on your journey with Blender!
When i press g and z and moving it up there a edge down
When u pushed the Z key and clicked, a little window will pop up "move" in that window click "Proportional Editing"
A very nice tutorial.
I currently use Blender 3.6.2
The Loop tool was not displayed to me in the menu (RMB or W).
I was able to activate this via the AddOn menu (Menu: Edit -> Preferences - AddOn) then Search for Loop tool.
Thank you for your feedback! Yeah thats exactly how you supposed to do that. I should've mentioned it more clearly.
When I press "I" to inset them it insets them separate from each other centered on each cut of the cube. How do I fix that?
Simply press “I“ again. You can toggle between individual on or off by pressing it while insetting.
2:47 by extruding along the normals, the sides seperates from each other over here (using blender 4.1 if that makes a difference), instead of staying together, am i doing something wrong?
Could it be, that you accidentally chose "individual faces" instead of "along normals"? It's located in the same menu. (Checked with Blender 4.1)
I know this is an old video, but how do I change and remove those dots that connect the edges and make it like yours? So I can do the right click thing to edit it and select the whole sruface or shape.
Hi, you can use the numbers 1,2,3 to change the select mode. (Those above the character section, not the numpad. The numpad numbers are to change the view angle)
@@tengertechnologies TYSM!!! I'm following your steps in doing my own for school purposes! Thankyou.
That's very nice to hear! I wish you happy learning!
For some reason when I try to select the 2 bottom faces on the cube it doesn't work?
You have to hold the shift key and select the two faces with rightclick or leftclick, depending on what you selection key is. Let me know, whether it worked or not.
when i do the the inset I thing it tweaks out
I'm not sure what you mean with "it tweaks out", but maybe it has to do with what your inset is set to. If you press "i" twice you can switch between individual on or off. This means that you can either inset all selected faces separately or all together. I hope this helps. Otherwise feel free to ask again.
how to make the sword tip sharp?
you could click the 2 vertices hit M (for merge) then at center and it will make them a point. the same goes for the blade as well
Can you teach me how to make a sickle to harvest rice? (using google translate)
Sure, I‘ll add it to my list
why cant i export with colour?
Which export format do you need?
When I click w I can't see loop section can you help?
You have to enable the addon „Looptools“. It‘s located at Edit>Preferences>Addons
@@tengertechnologies tysm
When I press ctrl + R it didnt cut? I call bull?
A different way to do it would be, using the loopcut tool in the toolbar on the left. You can check which one it is by hovering over it.
It's hard to say what the problem is. You could check your keymap settings, for that go to "Edit->Preferences->Keymap" and search for "Loopcut". If it is set to ctrl+R, there could be another program on your pc that causes the problem. I've read about people who had this problem because the had a vpn installed, which uses the shortcut too.
Hope this helps:)
Its apparently set to ctrl r but I dont have a vpn and nothing else is used for ctrl r so I think blender just hates me@@tengertechnologies
I am so sorry.. I forgot to press tab LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO@@tengertechnologies
@@gameswitheli Hahaha no problem. It happens to the best desingers sometimes I think.
It doesn't show me loop tools when i press W and shows me select button, what can I do here?
im on blender 4.0, does that change anything?
If you are using the default keymap, you should be able to open the context menu with right click.
(I have set my keymap to the old default where you select with right click, this changed in Blender 2.8 to be default to select with left click)
If you are able to open the menu and Looptools doesn‘t show up, make sure that the plugin is enabled in Edit>Preferences>Addons
@@tengertechnologies thanks man
when i press W it does not work 0:50
If the menu doesn't show up, try using you right mous button instead. If the menu shows up, but there is no Loop Tools section, you have to enable the addon under "edit>preferences>addons" and then search for looptools.
S and then Y scales the whole damn thiung for me D:
Did you press them at the same time or one after the other? One after the other would be the correct way. I can't think of a different problem here. Maybe you can check wether your keymap is default or not. Let me know if you got it to work, otherwise we can try to troubleshoot.
@@tengertechnologies i pressed O before, so yeah problem fixed, thanks for the support man :D
Glad you figured it out! As an explanation: If you press O, you turn on proportional editing. This means that everything you do gets proportionally done on everything in the area of influence. The area of influence is the circle that appears on your screen and you can control the size of it with the mousewheel.
shift+ Right Mouse doesnt work
Have you tried shift+ left mouse already?
@tengertechnologies I tried that, but I found a way out. I just had the dot mode (top left) turned on, so it didn't highlight. thanks for the tutorial
Glad you figured it out! Thank you for watching!
