So - for anyone interested enough to read the comments almost 8 months after this video release. I've got victus with 5800h and 3060 inside. Jarrod, for the fan speed settings issue, it will revert your changes if your profile mode is set to auto. If you want your settings to stay you need to change it from auto to manual. I own the RTX3050 victus and my region states 99% sRGB but I have no way to confirm it. Cooling is great though because the RTX 3050 is only 75W.

Do you think I should get the legion 5 pro with RTX 3060 6GB or Asus Rog Strix g15 ADVANTAGE RX6800M They both cost the same.
WOULD LOVE TO KNOW YOUR OPINION
Just got this bad boy for 800€ with 5600h and 3060, pretty fair price in EU. Thanks for the review!
The best laptop reviewer out there!
@Jarrod'sTech Hello, should the ram memory be changed or is the original one good? thanks =)
699 chf now in Switzerland from 1450chf. 6600h,rtx 3050, 16gb ddr5 4800mhz,512gb. Put it on external monitor and you are good
Can you do a "your picks a pricepoints" style video for gaming laptops, picking one with a numpad and one without at each pricepoint?
Can you do a review on the 2023 version please!
Trying to get it! Just been hard to get HP here for the last 18 months, but that's starting to change.
@@JarrodsTech Fingers crossed!
@@YukimaruM There is no 2023 Victus. It was discontinued by HP in 2022, in favor of only making Omen.
@@charginginprogresss not sure where you got that information from but there is actually a 2023 version of the victus right now
how would this compare to the Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3?
Im trying to choose which one to buy
(Im also probably getting the one with the ryzen 5 5600H)
Plastic and it's £799 at Argos?! Why are laptops so expensive?!
Jarrod, you are one of the finest tech reviewer I have seen in an era. 😊
That blowing on the screen was the best thing I saw today :)
There's a model of the Victus with an i7-11800H for just $1250 on the HP website. I'm skeptical, but its specs seem similar to this review. I'm debating if I should go for that model or for the Acer Predator Helios 300.
Hi there. I am currently having the exact same dilemma. Predator helios 300 which is a bit more expensive or the 11800H victus. If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up going for?
I found other reviews that show amazing srgb rates and brightness levels. Why is it nearly impossible to know before buying how good the screen will actually be 😭
Hey man your reviews are awsome!
I hope you can add Diablo 2 Resurrected on the bench marks for gaming soon as I am looking for laptops that could play that game!
Hey Jarrod, what is considered good laptop cpu temps while gaming? My Legion 5 with 5800h goes up to 92C while gaming, is that normal? considering yours were a bit lower.
