Most of the dlc reviews on steam are mixed, some are mostly negative reviews, I am glad you have opinion
I am late to the party but that was really interesting. I watch loads of Civ 6 videos and think your pace is better than others.
I got the game free on epic and during the anthology sale I bought all the dlc for $30. S+++ tier for anthology upgrade

@@TheCivLifeR it really is, all it took was waiting until the anthology with only the base game lol. I've also heard rumors on the reddit that e3 also put out a deal to potentially make the game and all the dlc only $20!!!

Imagine if the new frontier pass dlc's had scenarios like Ethiopia had the scramble of Africa where you play as the pre colonial nation and survive
Dank memes, now make a video on map spawn positioning/biases already, eg . How it goes from Tundra, grass plains, desert , rainforest, desert etc. And how to use spawn location to manipulate the map!

Just to note that the A.I can not use Hammurabi, properly he was in our game in south america and on around turn 200 ? he STILL has someone else on that continent. This is on a huge Earth map and we know only one other spawns there we have been in that exact position twice before he should have eliminated his closest rival and then it would have been his. But he is still having a pointless pissing contest the Corvinus who is in north america

The New Frontier Pass is actually $40 USD and not $30. How much does this impact your rating for the whole bundle?

Love Civ V with dlc, Civ 6 is kinda meh out of the box but I enjoy parts of it, the main issue is either the ai gets upset at warmongering too easy or you really can't do more than 2 things with your cities and need to specialize a lot more. The expansions all seem obnoxious, so many sold piece meal, half of them people say are broken and even you noted Gaul has a straight up exploit.
Rise and Fall looks like a nice update but I'm still not sold on it while Gathering Storm is all focused on Modern era developments and global warming, something 5 didn't even add. Governors seems nice to help a city do well or reinforce a border state with loyalty factored in but maybe I'm not seeing the depth involved with it or with the portraits were more representative of your current culture or era than everyone gets the same cast. I'm more intrigued by trying to make crisis' matter to multiple factions and golden/dark age bonuses for playing especially good in a phase or needing to catch up more than just "Oh we're starting the Renaissance, guess I should finally study Optics for boats" more like "Wow I lost that war so badly, screw trade we're making privateers NOW".
I also feel like some civs are just shoved into packs because, what can be said when Scotlands unique improvement is GOLF COURSES. I really don't want to buy a pass hoping you get good things, especially when some of those civs would be better off excluded.

I have a dog sh*t laptop so I play on console and when I bought the Civ 6 it came with the Vikings dlc, Australia, Poland and Persia and Macedonia.

rise and fall was great imo
@@TheCivLifeR but you can't deny that Gathering Storm was the superior dlc - it balanced out what many people think are balance issues from R&F and adds better feature than R&F, while it at the same time it entails all the features that were added in R&F. That's also a big plus if you DO compare them on their own, as you did, if you only have the base game and get GS you also get R&F minus the civs. Imo also the GS civs are slightly better than R&S. For those reasons, it can't be in the same tier imo.
