It would be much better if they wanted to demonstrate the end of racism and segregation, instead of removing the flag, placing the flags of the Zulu Kingdom and the Xhosa Kingdom next to the flag, showing the British, Dutch and South African origins of the nation. Despite this, I think the best thing would be to keep the exact same blue, white and orange flag, without any alteration, over time it would be cleaned and the segregationists would be left without their own flag.
Keep the tricolor and add a black triangle

What a load of nonsense, it's a beautiful song with beautiful words that does not espouse anyone over anyone else. BTW, get the facts straight and study the migration of tribes through Africa. Indeed, many ppl often seem to forget the latter part. Sure, much hardship wouldn't had been endured if Africa was never colonized but also, the southern part of the continent would've been tribes living as we did during the stoneage. Civilization was actually brought there. Also, most black south Africans of today migrated there after the first European settlers arrived as you mentioned.
