- We stole my buddy Eli's moped and got it running! These things are super fun to work on and even more fun to rip around!!! I really suggest everyone grabs on of these!! My bike is a Puch Maxi and the black bike is a Tomos Sprint!

a little trick to damn near never have air leaks !. use honda bond/ yamaha bond ON every gasket top and bottom . watch some of scooterswapshops videos on doing this works really well. and i want to say SSS also now has there own brand of the same product not sure the name though

out here were i live we have a big community of people making these tomos mopeds go fast as shit. its fun to see somebody from the usa use these little mopeds too

Fuel pump on my Puch:
3 o’clock is closed
6 o’clock is open normally
9 o’clock is reserve, you use this when you’re out of fuel on your normal tank, to get to a gas station or home. It uses last bit of fuel on the bottom of the tank

to me color on spark plug looks good, maybe a bit dark, in those mopeds its really easy to get the carb dirty

In my city in denmark vi are like 7 guys ridning around on puch maxi’s really fun bikes. Mine is a puch maxi k so it is with kickstart. 65cc only a 15 mm Karb and a 28mm techno exhaust. Goes about 67km/h but that ain’t enough
i have a 50cc 4 stroke and it goes 67

White means its running lean, that brown actually looked fine, if it was black then that would be too rich. Here in Germany we call it "rehbraun" if you want to look for the exact color

Mopeds are under the radar here. They are small and rare so cops dont really care. No one even knows the difference between a tuned one and a stock one

Hey man love the vid. I own a tomos myself and i was curious about what the top speed of the tomos and puch were?
I measured the top speed of my Puch to be around 43 mph. The Tomos was a bit faster so probably 45 mph
man, your mopeds looks similar, to the ones that brands like, Zanella ,or Daelim would made in the 80´s and 90´s, here in Argentina
Any tips on learning to wheelie a tomos streetmate. I think it is to heavy to pull it up

well i bought today a puch maxi runns 30km/h gonna put a old 60cc eurocilindro to install now these days its called athena so unbreakable cilinder and i have kreidler rmc with fast 60cc and 5 gear engine so best combi to have

@@TwoStrokeJ Yesss, keep it up man. I ride Puch Maxi Mopeds myself. Nothing better than riding it after a long day. I also wanted to Tell you that the Puch Manual said that the Spark Plug has to be "Rehbraun"(Austrian word for fawn brown). So ist should look like rust from the color. Its normal that the thread is a bit oily. Make sure to use the right spark plug for your setup, otherwise the color may be different. NGK B6HS or B7HS or Bosch W7AC or W5AC is my recommendation for your Setup. If a bike is Original, use B5HS or W8AC. I hope i could help you a bit.

Also a question: How much would you have to pay for a running Puch Maxi? In Austria the prices have gone wild since 2018. In Austria, Puch Maxi cost about 1500€.(1800$)

This tomos moped has lots of aftermarket parts like the 17mm carb on it and the cilinder isnt stock its a airsail or dmt 72cc kit thats what i can see😃

Tomos is the best vith reed valve cilinder 70cc mi goes 83 with ported dmp 70 cc poz from bosnia🇧🇦

Carb tuning on moped is quite easy you try to get it to rew up as quick as you can and idle should not be in fully

When the spark plug is coffee brown it is the right fuel to air ratio, when the spark plug are white you have way to little fuel, and when it is black/dark it have to much fuel
