- At this time of year in Spring There are lots that can go into the ground to grow. Its not just all about weeding and dodging those rain clouds. Lots of jobs to complete. There are plenty of cold hardy Vegetables to sow and plant.
Its the start of the sowings and planting into the ground here on our allotment in the UK.

I heard a record wettest in 60+ years 😢😢. Hope it warms and dries up soon Helen. Here we have 2c mornings but 19c days which sounds good but we could use some rain as it’s gearing up to be another bad fire season. We don’t have pigeons here they are all in the Walmart parking lot 😅😅. Have a super week Helen and happy gardening, Ali 🥶🌞🇨🇦

Think people all over the world are having changes in the normal weather patterns. Think we all will need to re-evaluate how we grow.

looking good.. i havnt started growing anything yet. i am behind. been really struggling with my mental health so havnt even been to allotment. need to push myself and motivated again

Same. I've found it helps to just give myself smaller tasks and I feel better once I've accomplished them. Even if it's just sowing a few seeds.For motivation I watch Odd socks
Sometimes we have to make the first step. Just giving ourselves just one job. Even if its just to take a walk to the allotment. Is a start. Small steps. Try not to overwhelm yourself. Mental health is important .
