Listen to your kids when they're trying to tell you something.
My Uncle and Aunt have Bees in their bedroom of an old farmhouse too. If they ever turn it into a B and B, they'll call that the honey-moon suite.
❤😂❤
How original and funny..... 🙄
@@somnuswaltz5586 oh, wow, ouch, you burned me so hard, oh Internet master
Lol love it
Honeybee suite
It is disgraceful that her insurance refuses to cover the damages!
only if the damage is covered under her insurance policy, which we do not know.
just because you pay a premium does not mean the insurance will pay for every financial damage you suffer. insurance is a legal contract. in general, the less you pay in premium, the less you get in coverage. this is like people paying for the ad-supported tier on netflix and complaining that they can't watch movies in 4K and they have to watch ads. yet somehow people expect insurance to be different.
they are the monsters.
Learn to read insurance policys. Most times they will not cover this type of problem
@@eileenmcdonald1599 Then what good are they????
At least the bees were honey bees and not masonry bees, who would have destroyed the house.
Their insurance company sounds pure evil making an excuse and not paying for it, kind of as evil as my insurance company
insurance companies just follow what the insurance policy says. insurance is a legal contract, after all (something most people don't seem to understand). if the risk is not covered (meaning, you didn't pay premium for the risk), they aren't legally required to pay. and you need to read the individual policy to know if it's covered or not. of course, if the policy does cover but the insurance refuses to pay, that's a lawsuit (and every lawyer worth their salt would be happy to work with you if they think you have a very strong case)
Not sure that insurance would ever cover bee infestation
What is insurance? In case something happens. What happens when nothing happens? Do I get my money back ? No What happens when something happens? You find out you're not covered.
ALL insurance companies are evil. I've been twice dropped from two different companies because as a Louisiana resident I am a liability. They just up and pulled out of Louisiana. I guess they can no longer be bothered to cover pesky stuff like hurricanes and tornados. They certainly won't cover infestations. I'm actually waiting for insurance companies to just start telling policy holders, "we only insure a declarations page to appease your mortgage lender, you'll get nothing else". Lol.
@@Alovellyone Progressive dropped me too because of address verification. A driver's license does not suffice. They want a deed. Too many false addresses.
Hopefully the bees are ok considering how important they are
'that we saved those bees' im sure they're fine. she called a beekeeper, not an exterminator. Beekeepers tend to be pretty passionate about the importance of those buzzin little critters :)
Let it bee, Let it bee.
Buzzing sounds of wisdom
Let it bee
My brother bought a house to renovate and found this same thing. He actually sold the hive to professionals. The honey was dripping from the attic to the walls and floor. Once the hive was removed, the rest of the bees left.
I once watched a guy get attacked by THOUSANDS of bees, he jumped into a swamp and when he came up to gasp for air,
a bunch of bees got sucked into his throat, he swallowed so many bees whole that most of them didn't digest properly and
came out fully intact when he went to use the bathroom. He swallowed somewhere around 32 bees. He said it was the only thing
he could do because he had to use his hands to swim in place, keeping his head above water. He threw up some of them when he came out of the
water, but as I mentioned earlier, most of it came out in his "stool". Absolutely terrifying (and gross, lol).
Made me think of Chris Farley running out of the car yelling, "Bees!" In the movie Tommy Boy 😂
My best friend and I just watched that a couple nights ago 😂.
Aww, make it a teachable moment for that little girl. Don’t teach her that honey bees are monsters.
too late with how they already ended it with talk of monsters, her saying bye to the "monsters", her mom calling them that, the nickname the girl gave him...that phobia is gonna be pretty heavily rooted probably, how unfortunate, hopefully they get past it eventually.
Agreed. Mom is awful
Teaching is imortant
@@eileenmcdonald1599yes, teaching is very imortant. 😊
It's fine. When the child grows they will learn what bees are and what they do. For now the mother doesn't want her daughter to NOT be afraid of bees. Bears and lions aren't monsters either but parents still teach their children to be scared of them because they can be dangerous. Stop being outraged on behalf of the bees and at least try to think about things from another humans perspective.
This is why you need to take "ghost stories" and mysterious happenings seriously. Fact is, it probably isn't a ghost or a monster, but it could still be pretty serious
Insurance isn't covering it... Figures. They're all so quick to take our money but when a legitimate need arises, they do anything BUT pay!
I hope they could keep the honey
I keep the honey and the bees 😂
The only "monster" in this story is the insurance company.... They wouldnt pay a dime?!?. They will wiggle and slime their way out of any and every situation that they should cover. Thy are the real disgusting and terrifying horror here.
And who got the honey? Hundreds of pounds? That's some substantial money.
I used to work for a company who sent one of our delivery guys to exterminate a bee hive in a wall and I seen a dark shadow about 3 feet from the ground up chasing the guy down the alley stinging him and he quit after that
Don't mess with those little guys
The younger you are, the better your ears are...lol.
Large swarm of bees are scarier than any horror movie monster.
I love how the insurance company decided not to cover anything, like WTH? Wonder which company it is & what their CEO's compensation is....
Let's just borrow Lady Gaga's famous quote and call those bees "little monsters."
Better honey bees than hornets/wasps
The bees thought the house was an Air BeeNBee
I love that😂
Bugs, spiders, and humans are monsters. Really seriously terrifying to me.
You cant do that, those bees have squatters rights!
WHY NOT TELL HER THEY WEREN'T "MONSTERS" THEY WERE JUST BEES MAKING THEIR HOME.
IT TAKES THE FRIGHT OUT OF THE SITUATION FOR ONE.
They are monsters.
Go extinct @@deadman019
Bees aren’t monsters.
Humans are.
The little girl thought it was, because of the noise...listen to the video properly. Bees shouldn't live in people's houses.
You are the human
I'm a monster for responding.
@@julianaylor4351
Bees are still not monsters. Why lie to her?
Oh, and yeah…I listened to the video. You’re no genius. Especially if you want to teach children lies.
@@moonshoes11 The child thought they were, I didn't say I did and you are incredibly ignorant, bees are dangerous if they get into a building, especially masonry bees, the only problem here was from honey bees, thankfully not African ones, which are very aggressive. I'll bet you've never been stung by a bee. I've been stung twice by two different Bumble Bees, who unfortunately died, because that's what happens when they sting. You're the one spreading lies, nature is not cute and cuddly, it's dangerous. You really need to read more about bees. 🤦
SURE --TEACH YOUR KID THAT THESE ARE MONSTERS ---GREAT JOB MOM
Is that the SOOUUND of those MOOONSTERS
Why are you yelling
Bees aren't pests or monsters. Where else are they expected to build their hives with humans having destroyed their habitats?
Agreed 💯
Christ that is nerve-wracking 😬
imagine paying for insurance and they don't even pull through when you need them most
Bees 🐝 everywhere!
Time to call a realtor.
Sell some of the honey ❤😂
Cancel your insurance and put that money aside every month into an index fund.
It’s def been there for years
Don't say "Candyman" five times!
Read "The Rats in the Walls" by H. P. Lovecraft.
Although if you like sleeping well, maybe you shouldn't.
Now her parents will never be able to convince her that there’s no such thing as monsters.
I think Clarence was there
Candy man 🍬
1:21 Errr... 🤦♀️ Uhm, was there a specific reason you couldn't have attacked this issue from the *outside* of the house? 🤨🤷♀️
They said it was 9ft tall inside the walls. At least watch to the end of a 3 minute video before commenting
Inside the wall means in between the outside and the inside of the house lol@@jamesk212
I'm guessing it was easier because the outside of the house is brick
So you think that damaging the outside to get to them would be any cheaper?
Let bee live!!! For honey profit
How can the dmg be 20k?
Just a guess, but cost of extraction, cleanup of aftermath, damage to interior walls/ceiling/woodwork, exterior siding, insulation, possible roof/soffit/fascia damage, any studs or framing sections that needed removal, possible substrate damage. Multiple trades would be needed for these repairs. It adds up very quickly.
