With an overwhelming amount of requests after the 107 facts you should know about The Owl House, we decided that gathering facts about Amphibia was a good idea. After all, with its similar popularity, how could we pass up an opportunity to take a deep dive into an interesting show? Be warned though: spoilers ahead for the first two seasons. 108: if you're wondering why hop pop sounds familiar, that's because he is voiced by Bill Farmer, who is the voice of goofy. And if you watched the Snow White and the seven dwarfs series, The 7d, he voices doc, which uses the same voice pitch.
109: if you're curious about who voices Andreas, that would be Keith David, who voices Spawn, and Dr. Facilier, from the princess and the frog.

honestly I didn't think I would like this, but I actually love it, it was a slow build, but the building made something amazing. (like the first two episodes of season 3 are some of my favorites, I only hope it keeps getting better)

Fact 108: The music box handle's location switched after the first episode. (The first episode had the handle next to the gems. Later, it was on the opposite side)

8:35 it also has what seems to be the nail weapon from Hollow Knight, which is the default weapon used by the player in the game.
This show is amazing. I love how they sneak in references and pay homage to other shows/movies/video games. Some are on the nose and some you have to pay attention to the background details. Shows how much the animators care ab this show to take the time to put those unneeded references there.

i still can’t get my head around how anne and pacifica are similar… very different in appearances and personalities

Possibly because pacifia was a changing character. Anne's modern world is similar to pacifia's rich world.
From what I understand, from a story arc, they are very similar.
Both trying to change from an emotionally abusive relationship.
Pacifica bends to the needs of her parents and "being a proper Northwest" whilst Anne bends to Sasha's words and goes along with her constantly.
In the end, Pacifica stands up to her parents and Anne stands up to Sasha, a very similar character arc.
Awesome, didn’t think I’d see one of these for Amphibia. Glad this show is finally getting some recognition.
I LOVE AMPHIBIA! It is so amazing. It is so clever with its storylines and details and it brings that sense of wholesome entertainment which I think a lot of people need nowadays. It also teaches us about certain real world topics that we definitely need to learn. For example, in “After the Rain,” the show talks about how lying not just to someone but yourself can have serious consequences yet it’s understandable because traumatic events in the past prevents people from moving on and even trusting the environments they are in. In the First Temple, the show wonderfully tackled the issue that is forgiveness. Just apologizing after something so devastating can’t always be fixed right away. It takes time and effort and it’s alright if it doesn’t get fixed right at that minute, knowing that the problem exists is better than ignoring the fact that something is happening.

Yeah true colors deserve that rating and many got caught off guard since disney had mostly been family friendly and a lot of people least expected it.

The show has so many references. In the first temple. It has a time card saying “2 hours later” with a background design that looks very similar to Spongebob’s time cards. In the shopping cart episode, there is a Smash Bros references as well
This show is amazing, the amount of references to Owl House/Gravity Falls is just truly incredible.

Probably the nicest things Matt Braly did ever was giving his support to Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano, when she was writing the pilot for her webseries Hazbin Hotel. Or as I like to say, a thumbs-up, calling it a brilliant idea. Even more so, he was quite representative, due to his upbringing in Thailand, along with drawing inspiration from his own grandma when designing Anne Boonchuy, the show's protagonist.

In your video, my favorite fact is about the music box. The prophecy or poem really got me. When I was doing research about the show, I found the Amphibian language and it had the English letters on the bottom, I was able to figure out those words mean. And AMPHIBIA is the Best Show Ever!!!!!!

What amazes me about this series is the massive ammount of video game references. Each episode has at least one. And also cool is how similar many things in this series are to things from The Legend of Zelda franchise.
All the ancient structures, technology and things from the 1000 year old amphibia seem to be heavily inspired by the Sheikah.

Another fact is in the beginning of last episode of season 2, when Marcy is in the library and looking at the books, you can see a quick cameo of Bill Cypher (Gravity Falls) in one of the pages of the book Marcy is reading before she sees something about the magic box.
So maybe it’s connected to Gravity Falls too.
