This record is incredible, and very underrated for my taste. Excellent; I have a copy on CD but I hope to someday make a copy of it on vinyl.

Hey thanks for this it is different and I know of Robert Palmer, can't remember what the one song by him I liked off hand but this is cool. At least I am assuming that is the Robert Palmer I know
Palmer only produced the album but all songs are composed and sung by Baumann...:)

Ha! Ha! Repeat Repeat is a homage to everything that is trashy, mediocre & banal in culture with films (& maybe TV programmes too that are continually repeated due to lack of resources & money & people running out of creative ideas) dealing with subjects & ideas that have been done before & done again ad infinitum for reasons beyond me!!! I think Peter is being a bit cynical & sarcastic with a bit of irony thrown in for good measure & I like that! Some great sounds on this album courtesy of the E-mu Audity. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
For someone who was in Tangerine Dream..... hmmmm? I don't quite know what to think. Some Bowie, a little John Foxx and a poor man's Anthony Moore (check out his "Flying Doesn't Help" lp) and I'll have to let this process a bit. I just hope no Gary Numan influences show up. Not what I expected. Too pop.
Listen to "Tranharmonic Nights" adn "Romance 77" if you haven't already.
I agree. They are both very very good.
And I agree that is later work was too big a departure for many, like us, who were familiar with his work with TD and early solo albums, although I do like his take on "Strangers in the Night", my guilty pleasure. ;)

Could do with some remix treatments from Ulrich Schnauss or Vince Clarke, I would like to see what they could turn this album into?
