- Konrad is a perfect instant child "born" in a factory at age 8. Due to a mistake in the factory's computer, Konrad is delivered to Bertie Bartolotti, a woman whose life and appearance are in a constant state of disarray. Konrad arrives looking like a gremlin, but when Bertie pours a nutrient solution over his head he changes into a fully-developed, perfect 8-year-old child. The factory realizes a mistake was made, and recalls Konrad, but he does not want to leave his new family and friends.
Fun Fact: You might remember "Konrad" (Huckleberry Fox) from the Crunch and Munch commercial in 1983.

I've always thought Huckleberry Fox was the most adorable boy that ever existed. Thanks for this movie of him that I was unaware of.
When I get a new puppy Ive decided to name him or her Huckleberry Fox. A very nice name.
He was. He still looks exactly the same as an adult. His son looks like him.
What other movies has he been in?? I've only ever seen this one...
@@kytastrophe- "Terms of Endearment".
I remember watching this movie as a child, I'm glad I found it because I thought it was a fever dream for like 20 years
I remember it being better quality tho maybe it was decent for back then I also thought it was called "Conrad, the boy in a can 😂😂😂
Also didn't realize it was based off a children's book... Who knew 🤷🏾♀️
Me too!!!!
I thought I was the only one who thought it was a dream.
Same! I had it confused with Flight of the Navigator. When I saw it wasn't it, I gave up trying to find it. Then I came across ALF randomly and remembered the Dad (Max Wright) was in the movie. So I searched his filmography I found it!!!
I watched it in my childhood and hoped to watch it again. Thank you for making it come true.
God bless our moms who all taped this off tv for us
I named my soon to be three year - old house kitty after this film. I did this for two reasons. The first reason, I love my kitty. The second reason, I love this movie. Kindest Regards, Aiden Alamo.
So many memories of this as a kid!
omg i bought this movie on dvd during the pandemic because i wanted to watch it so bad and it wasnt available online im so happy this exists now
Wow I just remembered this out of the blue and am so happy it's on youtube :) The kid in the can was so disturbing as a child.
This movie is a breath of fresh air 🥰
this is one of my favorite movies! thank you so much for posting!
Omg! I can't believe I found this!
Perfection ! Thank you
What a wonderful and funny movie. I am 76 and enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for posting.
Our pleasure!

I unexpectedly found out about this movie just a few hours ago. Pleased to find it on here. I really enjoyed it. Wish I'd know about it back when it was on and I was a kid.
I don't care if he's imperfect! I love him and I want him! ( Loved this movie as a kid.) Never ever thought I would find it again.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Frank and his sidekick are so mean to Konrad! I had too many classmates like that all through school. Konrad is so easygoing and well-behaved. I like that.
Kitty is as sweet as my best friend from Montessori School was.
Love this movie! 💕😊🎸🎶🐈
watching this because of my school.. very intressting.
Awesome movie ,wonderfull actors
The first minute was the best minute I’ve spent all year.
A-hah! I checked again, Max Wright, the father from ALF. I recognized him by his voice!
One of the few things I remember from 1985. Skimming through it now, it seems so cheesy and goofy, yet still so emotionally impactful! There were a whole bunch of scenes I remember being in this movie about the kids being in groups where they were meditating and building things, but apparently that wasn't this movie haha.
Surf Wisely.
This movie was great, I especially loved the ending. Thank you for sharing it. God Bless You & stay safe.
I saw a clip of this movie when I was a kid right around the time that the “Bye Bye Birdie” movie came out. It really struck me as an incredible coincidence that the main characters of this were names Konrad and Bertie when another movie had Conrad Birdie as the main character.
Those two movies came out a decade apart from one another.
@@connorscanlan2167 Yeah, they just happened to be airing them on TV right around the same time.
@@friendsfreak I see what you mean. I remember seeing a scene from the movie around the time "Donkey Kong Country" was released, so they must've been rerunning it a lot.
Great 👌 movie 🎥🍿🎥
Excelente filme!🤓
A good film
The kid is an excellent actor!
Was, he isn't an Actor anymore!
I remember the ending is so awkward lol, but I love this movie regardless
A good actor Huckleberry Fox.
Haven't seen this in 25 years. Wow
cute movie, perfect for children!!
Good movie
😂😂😂 " He came in a can"
This is funny.❤
The whole movie is good, of course. But I have to say that the music scenes are my favorite. I'm an enthusiastic amateur pianist and organist.
I remember the book of this!
Oh wow I remember this movie! I loved it when I was a kid…and I had the biggest crush on lil Konrad lol but the part where she pours the solution on him always freaked me out tho. I’m glad I got to see it again
A best tv movie.
kind of a cutie. Thank you
I had one of those leaping frogs as a kid
I mean... how did i get here? i watched this as a kid. The nutrient solution scene is so disturbing. also this movie was inspiration to become a rug maker.
Good
I didn't remember this being so campy when I saw it in '85. I think I only watched the first 10 minutes before I said, "No!"
George (his real name) Fox was such an appealing child that it's worth skimming through it to the scenes where he has some dialog. His own son, Antonio, is now 21, and that makes me feel very old.
I looked this up because someone was asking about a movie that was like DARYL and they added a link of this. I watched the first and, LOL, I also TAPPED OUT at the 10 minute mark. I skimmed real fast through the rest and there was no part of the movie I wanted to return to.
Hi Family Time. Please, where could I find the two episodes about ''Vranek''? Could you upload them as soon as possible, please? I'm dying of irritation because I can't find them. Thank you.
Cool
"Try to find a box of Crunch n Munch in this house." That's him, right?
To this day I flip my badge and say “ Bartalotti Mam”. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
If it isn't perfect, it isn't us.
I remember the book being focused on the pbs show with John Robbins who drew the story on some pages
A best tv s movie.
Does anyone know what the song is at the beginning of the movie
That seems to be a US remake of the German movie "Konrad oder das Kind aus der Konservenbüchse" of 1983.
lindo
*_ClownfishTV_* sent me here!
This is hilarious 😂
this movie desperately needs to be remade.
and remade seriously.
No worries you will see this in real life...with the children being Sterilized this fictitious story is right around the corner to becoming reality take a look at the premature infant pods and the fetuses being grown in labs presumably for organs.. Do some research
This is already a remake. The original was a german movie, Konrad aus der Konservenbüchse.
I saw that guy who was in Alf and misfits of science
pequeño gatito
Max Wright was the best in this. He always delivered his lines like a homicidal maniac about to stab you. Haha😅
The delivery man is Max Right! Mr. Tanner from ALF!!!!!
He also appeared as a hospitalist in "Roc."
Boy that was a strange one! 😆😂😆
The guy from Alf is in this movie
It was cheese, but cute. Huckleberry is an excellent actor!!😊
What city was Konrad filmed in?
See in the end credits, can you read it?
my name is literally konrad
They had this on wonder works they had good movies on it
It is not the first time that William Tanner has lost his mind with a small creature.
6:55 Creepy.
Konrad (1985) | Full Movie 🥰
Flo??
Konrad The Barbarian....C L A S S A C T
This movie look like , The fligt of the navigator.
So this is where "Stranger Things" got the idea.
Might be an inspiration.
ST gets there inspiration from everything from the 1980s. SCI fi, Fantasy, Action movies, all.
What is the movie called
Can't you read? KONRAD.
THAT WAS GOOFY, CUTE & ENJOYABLE👍🏻👌
PEOPLE ARE CRAZY IF THEY THINK G👑D IS GOING TO GIVE HUMAN POWERS ONLY THE L👑RD JESUS HAVE; HE WOULDN'T BE G👑D , WOULD HE🀄💋😇

Amen🀄🙏🙇♂️
Really creepy, the boy's body in the can.
Has the woman who Konrad was delivered to in Alice?
Yes
Joel Perez friends konrad
What is the copyright © year of this movie 🎥? It looks like a very old movie from the late 1960s which was 50 plus years ago.
No, not the 60's.
Huckleberry Fox was one of the children in "Terms of Endearment" so probably late 70's/early 80's.
You made me curious. Google says 1985.
Did you recognize the woman/mom is Flo from the TV series "Mel's Diner"?
1985
@@lesliekendall5668 & the evil scientist is Willie from Alf.
For like half of the movie i fought his name was commrade not konrad
🤣
Gerne auch mal auf deutsch!?
Polly Holliday show the whole world how to be a real momy ۔
this is a documentary about me
The human imagination!!!!!.😅😅😅😅
Tyylllerrrr......
What? 🤷🤷♀️🤷♂️
Is there any Role that Max Wright is NOT playing a Jerky Character?
Wow never saw the US Version till today. And I have to say, I hate it.
lol is this a horror movie or what
I thought this movie was a fever dream.
What the hell???
I thought it was ok for a free film
It very good family film, bright alone mother, her modest old friend, and present for them unicum boy, perfecr boy. What happen with them?
@@stuartmacleod7466 it's more than okay; it's terrifical!
3:43 Max Right must have been unemployed to put on such an absurdly fake mustache.
They tried to make a "Small Wonder" type without the freak factor and thus making it unfunny and uninteresting! If you don't know small wonder, it's an 80s short lived tv show about an android girl that acted similar to Konrad, but much funnier
"Conrad the Factory Made Boy" story book existed long before the "Small Wonder" TV series. The book was published in the 70s. So yeah you know now 🤷🏻♀️
You have terrible taste.
Instant child seriously this is an eye opening to clowning that's not funny man trying to make what only God can, Conrad represent something that no child is, perfect. God made Children to be children. born in sin and shaped in iniquity just like all of us to be saved by grace. Perfect children don't exist they have to strive for perfection just like all of us when Jesus came into their hearts hearts. Thank God for my kids.🙏🙏
It’s fiction. Just a movie. Make believe. Lighten up.
