Lee Reston is a widow whose police officer son Greg dies in a car accident. Greg's friend and fellow officer Chris Lallek tries to help the Reston family in Greg's absence. Soon, he and Lee grow close and fall in love. But Lee is fifteen years older than Chris, something that upsets most of her family, including her college-aged daughter. When Chris proposes marriage, Lee must decide whether to risk alienating her family in order to be with the man she loves.
Awesome movie! Why is it when a matured woman feel in love with a younger guy, you get this hassle and criticisms from your family and friends but if a matured guy feel in love with younger girl, it’s okay no one says anything nor criticise. It’s a double standard, when you loved someone, age is not a barrier and it’s only a number. Thanks for uploading it’s emotional and heartfelt film.

I totally agree as long as the two in the couple are consenting adults it's no one else's business.
Because a younger woman’s is fertility is at its peak/healthiest and the older man is more stable in life able to access better resources. It’s really biological.

Relationships are complicated- nice to see a movie that shows different family styles in a respectful way.

I really like how, for once, the young son is very respectful and has a good relationship with his mother. That's so rare in movies these days. They don't need to make the teenagers rude in order to make the story realistic.

Lynda Carter has always been my idol! I've seen every episode of Wonder Woman, all of her movies and variety specials and I want all of her albums because she is one of my favorite singers in the whole world and she has performed with legends such as Kenny Rogers and Ray Charles! This movie was filmed in my city! Regina, Saskatchewan. They made awesome and adaptive use of our buildings, homes, and parks. Plus, I met and got my picture taken with the lady herself!

This was a VERY well made. First time I’m seein this. Wasn’t the typical TV movie May-December romance bs. It was sweet and a feel good movie. Lynda Carter makes this film. This should confirm to viewers and critics she was much more than a woman in a tiara and a flag colored bathing suit fighting crime.

I must have really been sick. I just remember some parts of this movie. Oh well; watching again; seems good enough!👍. Really wholesome family 🎥. I love it. I know there will be some sad parts, because there's happy parts. It can't stay happy for long!!! Guess you just have to face love, but this is a touchy situation. This movie ended up being far deeper than I thought it would be. The contrast between a broken home and a happy one is thrilling. When people have suffered so much - It's not the crooks the real problem, it's the children - they ask themselves if a "happy home" is possible and true or only a saying. If they get near one, the problem becomes to dare to believe they will belong and won't lose it. The struggle lies between fear and love. Taking or deserving?!
The explanation to Joey about sex is the best I have ever heard in my whole life, and coming from a movie, it is especially soothing and encouraging. So true! So very necessarily true! Beautiful!
In the whole, I think this is a very hard topic. To choose between family and an intimate relationship forever is no walk in the park. I've heard a phrase I personally cherish: Passion does not wait. Love does. - From the point of view of love, I think that this strong, upright woman tries to do everything right, but she gets caught up between reality and truth. I think that she was very unfair to her daughter, who - in confidence - had told her about her liking Chris, and even asked for her help to get his attention. I think there's a big gap here, between an unnoticed selfishness and love. The daughter deserved her mother's honesty. And she should have been her priority.
I strongly believe that love is a chance we all deserve and whoever finds it should go for it. But love doesn't allow cheating. I think that more time and openness from both lovers would make the picture nearer to good and perfect.

I've always loved Linda Carter. As a singer I had always hoped to someday sing a love duet with her. That's how deep my love is for her. She was great in this movie. Romantic and realistic. I only wish I was playing the lead male...ahhhh

Linda Carter is about 45 during this movie, and what a stunner. Its quite uncommon to see this Dec-May relationship (or AGR). Only 8.5% married couples are AGR, and only 1.3% is where the women are older. This movie shows a beautiful relationship, I don't know why its such a taboo. If the couple is happy its nobody else's business.

Never knew about this one. I actually liked it...mostly. I have no problem with the age difference or the story. It's other technical things I had issues with.
My Friends Son was a Marine and a Police Man . He built his onw house in Fl .. He was pulling the last Hurricane Strap .. it cut an electric wire and he was Electrocuded to death .. Left beind a wife and two kids..
In Previous Centuries Neighbors helped Neighbors and Often Married widows and widowers of neighbors or Brothers and Sistes in Laws ect..
After my Great Great Grandmother died from the Spanish Flu in 1918 My GG Grandfather married her half sister.. She had neveer been married before but may of had one child.. My GG Grandfathers kids were close to adults all 11 of them
