Gorgeous sturdy and calm natured little dog, thoroughly enjoyed watching him change from dress mode to sports mode :)
Thank you very much!
You are so passionate about your work 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
He's a cutie! Great video and great job Suzanne!❤️🐾
They are such a beautiful and smart breed! Lovely little dog😊
Lovely little dog, adore the breed profile trim, as always for me, more hair=more to love.🥰
What an adorable boy!
Beautiful little fella! Love the trim! I’m very much leaning towards getting a papillon for my next furbaby!
You should!
Super informative, great for learning. thank you
very handsome lil Pap You can see mine. His name is WyattBOO and he is a registered Papillion. I love him so so much..
What a darling little dog!!
THANK YOU, this helped a tonnnn
Such a cutie 😊
beautiful cut, i love it !
Beautiful groom!
I have a chion, he had beautiful butterfly ears but when he was 4 months old someone cut them to short. My question is is there anyway to cut or trim around the ears to get the shape back by any chance
I have a mixed breed papillon, lhasa apso, yorkie, I have no idea how to groom him.
I have a male and female Papillon. Curious about your comment to not trim or cut their ears or tail?
That baby is adorable!
Well, you can if you want to, but as a professional, I would think that pet parents would be furious with me if I did.
❤👍
How can you do something like that to a papillon? omg ...... you devastated his hair.....
Wouldn't be a wonderful world if all dogs could be as beautifully groomed as your Beja.
Enjoyed the video, but Radar looks like a long haired chihuahua rather than a papillon.
I guess that is an issue for his breeder.
Papillon has duoble coat but with small amount of undercoat.
I would never trim paplillon like this it is devastating of his beautifull and silky hair 😢 it is not a pomeranian.
They need trim only on sanitary area, and paws like all spaniels.
The standard of the breed calls for a single coat. The pet parents are aware of the differences in texture to the coat and prefer him shorter. Groomers do not pick the haircut, the pet parents do.
However, you make a good point, check out my educational page concerning this topic for my clients. grandestylepet.com/pomeranian-%26-double-coats
@@grandestyledoggrooming I am breeder. I have 7 papillons, grooming one papillon takes 7-10 minutes, so it is not a problem at all. I do it every day after walk. I dont understand why people buy longhaired dogs to trim them for short hair? In my opinion trimming this kind of coat cause that maintaining is more difficult.
Papillon is a cross between the Continental Toy Spaniel Phalene and the Chihuahua...Phalene were the dogs of the nobility across Europe throughout the Renaissance and the age of Enlightenment. Louis XIV declared that all Phalene's born in France were his and he chose who would receive them. His daughter went to Spain with her Papillons and there the Spanish brought back the Chihuahua and it was in the court of the King of Spain that the Papillon was conceived, bred for the chihuahua ears and the phalene color and longer fur. During the French Revolution the French killed the phalenes as they were a symbol of the Aristocracy. The breed survived in Belgium, Germany and Italy as well as Switzerland...The dogs were reintroduced into France in the 1930's; but to this day there are only 50 Phalene's born in France each year. A phalene is moth, and when the Phalene dogs shake their heads their floppy ears make the same sound of the fluttering wings of a moth, thus the name was born during the middle ages.
The word Papillon is pronounced Papi-Own, not Papi-On!!!
So educational. Thank you.
@@Sjqlby NO W after the first Pa...like the word Pap smear...Pap-Eee-Own
I'm a breeder, it's a horror to watch something like this
Your Beja is beautiful. It would be lovely if everyone kept their dogs in proper coat.
how should one groom a papillon? do you trim its hair at all?
