    Got a few of these units from a friend(with various problems), and I'm trying to figure out how to connect it to my bench PSU for testing. Tried connecting Bat+, Ignition1 and GND - nothing happens.
    EDIT: Nvm. After few minutes of tinkering in my workshop I found everything I needed. Totally missed that I also need to connect "ignition 2" and backlight.

    • @RPIEngineering
      @RPIEngineering  Před 4 lety

      Hi,
      The book means that the unit has a fault logged. You need to plug a diagnostics tool in (faultmate or such like) to see what the faults are. The best thing you can do is to clear all the codes and see what ones come back.
      The blower motor relays in the fuse box are a common fault though (the fuse box itself can also be an issue)

    • @RPIEngineering
      @RPIEngineering  Před 2 lety

      Yes we have another batch of 500 coming into stock soon however there is a hold up with manufacture as there is with most things at the moment. :-) At present we are being told around 4 weeks. You can still order through the shop even though it says out of stock and you will get your name on one of the first ones. The shop will take care of this item and shipping to the USA as its under 2KG. We can ship everything internationally but if over 2KG you would need to email us for a shipping price.
