Well the less popular characters had to be announced at some point it was a fine trailer
Some of y’all are really complaining because your favorite characters weren’t in the trailer, you know at some point they’re gonna have to reveal every character so don’t expect to get everything in a single trailer.
We should be grateful we’re getting these frequently
And most of you are mad because other people don’t like what you like because it’s called “dragon ball z” as if people can’t have an opinion, humans are complexes creatures

Also I don’t hate people having an opinion, I just think we should be patient since there’s still a few month until the game releases, so I hope you understand.
From what I heard from the video I don't think it's that, it's just that some characters were underwhelming since we already saw them

I have to admit that the first black abbility seems kind of unfinished, and Ui Goku feels a bit weird, but I believe they are not finished yet

From a marketing standpoint i feel like this makes complete sense. Everyones going crazy over gameplay footage so you drop something with a couple sick charaters but hold back some so closer to release you can drum up hype again. Also with mr satan and such i think its mostly that they didnt have an official trailer anouncement so they put them in a filler trailer. Also need to keep in mind while it may seem pointless there will be some fans who didn't watch anything but official announcement videos.
This trailer felt like a cherry on top of a month packed with updates for the game. The trailer was a great surprise and they didn’t make us wait very long for it. Everyone has their character preferences (and I hope you get to see the ones you want soon) but I felt like there was something here for everyone to enjoy. On top of that I’m happy that they’re trying to include all of the Z characters in this game (even the unpopular ones).
I haven't enjoyed a single thing in this trailer other than graphics. These character reveals however are ass

@TwinDragon163 nah the 1st few were good. Seeing ss3 goku, ultra trunks, roshi and piccolo were cool to see. But when the trailer is majority super yes it is automatically bad
but honestly, very happy for Dabura, one of the coolest and most underused characters, the fight with him in the trunks dlc from Kakarot was awesome, cabba will probably be announced soon
Yes, Dabura IMO is the coolest henchmen in all of DB. He hasn't been treated the best lately and glad he makes a base roster again

Nah he has valid complains, the animations on UI sign and Goku black were weird and some of these characters weren't needed since we seen them in the demo. They shoulda been focused on the new characters

This came off as really nitpicky. You have to remember that not everyone watched, played, or even heard about the demos. Not everyone is keeping tabs on the press releases or analyzing each trailer or footage. For most people these occasional trailers are where they get their confirmations from. Then they move on. While you may be disappinted that they shown a chatacter from the demo, but for another it could the first time they seen them. Also yes we saw Jiren and some others before, but we did not see actual game play for base Jiren or so on. Its going to be slow roll for characters and trailers until release. We have plenty of time for the eventual confirmations that everyone wants. Not saying you can't complain, but just some things to consider.
Facts especially with still 3 months left, they can definitely make more trailers and reveals for these different characters. Either way this game is gonna be great no matter what.

Don’t understand how you can say “where are all the new dbs characters that are probably going to be in the game?” Then skip over how the trailer revealed the last 2 of the universe 2 trio and on top of that Anilaza which are all pretty new characters
It is kind of underwhelming that half of the characters they featured are already shown characters, some already in the demo.
Of course they did was probably a pre-planned trailer and we finally got to see trunks ultimate which no one showcased in the demo even if it is just an ultimate
I don’t remember seeing jiren, super vegito, anilaza, roasie, ribrianne, dabura, yajirobi, Spopovich, ultra instinct and goku black rosé in the demo. But hey maybe I just missed all of them.

@@romart03don't know why you're being smug? Jiren was shown in the first trailer future trunks and Hercules was in the demo and we got to see plenty of them. Dabura and spopovich was leaked (honestly on whoever saw leaks) most others were a given since they were either crucial to story (yajirobi) or their teammates were already announced (ribrianne and roasie) so honestly the only really unexpected character anilaza in my opinion

This is literally the tenkaichi series, having all these characters is a must, if they really plan on revealing the entire roster they’re gonna have to show the side characters at some point. It’s so stupid that first people complain that there wouldn’t be many characters and now that we’re getting a reveal for every character, even the small ones, people are still complaining as to why they’re in the game or the trailer. I thought this trailer was the clean but I see your point of view. But with a roster of 164 characters all these trailers statistically can’t be winners with everyone

I thought this trailer was actually pretty hype. We got 4 new characters who have never been in a BT game and before and who we have not seen in previous trailers (Rosie, Ribrianne, Anilaza, UI sign). We also got the confirmation of returning characters like Yajoribe. The only reveal that wasnt too exciting for me was Spopovich, because I know I wont be using him, and I also know most others will not be using him either.
I know I will, I’ll play every character in the sparking zero game.

I liked the trailer. But I did want GT to keep it a Hunnit. But honestly the most hype thing though is the What if we seen in the demo just 100% confirmed The characters we seen are playable and are not just Cutscenes. The only one we're uncertain about is Chi Chi who we also seen in the what if pictures.
I understand why they did Jiren though since the theme is Fist Vs Swords.
But they may of revealed something else in the trailer such as Tapion being playable. Think about it the Sword vs Fist theme but they didn't show Other characters we know fit the description.
Such as Zamasu, Cooler, Salza, Tapion. Or even Z Sword Trunks who we also already seen(Trunks Z) like Jiren & Hercule. This trailer showed trunks Super.
While other characters chosen were based off their fighting style/ special moves for physical combat.
Anilaza being in means 100% Giant Janemba & His Transformed state is in the game. Movie characters must have their own unique trailer. Day 1 Super Characters I was expecting I literally typed that on the official trailer comments.
There's still so many open slots. Android 20 , Chiaostu, Zarbon, & Sabaiman the only ones revealed in the demo not confirmed yet on the roster honeycomb.

My gut tells me August is going to be the bombshell month. They're going to want a final big dose of hype leading up to release, then September will be a trickle of new reveals and interviews.

I will say the audio clips are recorded with many takes , sometimes voicelines in the game will sound different from the trailer. Sometimes, some clips don't make it in. My point is that on the Goku Black Voice clips, there might be a possibility that it'll sound a little different in the game.
Dabura is legendary, if you are not even hyped about him then you cant be a real DRAGON BALL Z FAN. He is just a badass character with badass techniques and attacks and design
I am a hardcore Dragon Ball fan as a whole, love it so much, watch all the content, etc. But, personally, I don't like Dabura.

Now I agree with your point on the characters cause most of us wanna see more and maybe the animation of ui can just be sped up, the only thing I can say we still have to wait on to find out more about is the Goku Black voice line that you didn't like cause it's still a trailer and in trailers they cut and paste voice lines that could not be there for the actual move, now what do I mean by this? Now if we go back to the old trailers there are some moves where characters say something completely different compared to the trailer so for now we can assume that that voiceline could just be from the start of a fight which is why he's not sounding like he's in a fight about to do it(sorry for the paragraph tho) anyway, I still agree with everything else you said cause man I saw sword vs fist and thought "hey, that means Janemba is here right... right?"
We got two trailers in the same month and the first one came with a release date and pre-orders AS WELL AS DEMOS AND GAMEPLAY! I think people that are constantly watching and critiquing every detail, every single day, of every trailer are getting desensitized and starting to create unrealistically high expectations.

I'm glad Dabura and Yajirobe are confirmed. Most of the other reveals are things we knew would be there. Of course Ribrianne will be there if Kakunsa is already in. Of course the TOP arena will be in the game.
Edit: Anilaza is also a nice reveal because it adds another giant option, but honestly, eh.
Believe it or not some people are actually looking forward to the random ass characters like Spopovich. How times are we gonna play as a goku or vegeta in a dragon ball game bro, I already know what I’m gonna get. But from a game with such a fun combat system, it’s the B tier characters that we typically don’t get in mainline games that end up being the most creative and fun to play.
It’s a little disappointing that we’ve already seen half the characters in the trailer, but in all fairness, they DID show us a lot already this month and they probably would’ve gone way off schedule if it was ANOTHER batch of unannounced characters.
Also, “why Spopovitch?” Well, they needed SOMEONE in the story to genuinely fight Videl. Vs Spopovitch is like, her ONLY fight outside of training with Gohan and beating up thugs.
Listen Spopovich did show a lot in a 2 episode fight in DragonBall z in the tournament with videl, so of course he was going to be in the game, I just hope we also get his brother as well, and the rest of babadi’s henchmen.

The issue is everyone believed this was GT trailer it was not, you set yourself up for failure. The trailer revealed purposefully leaked characters in the gameplay. You are looking at this as a creator not everyone absorbed hours of gameplay they dropped and he hasn’t yet been officially announced

Besides Cabba and God of Destruction Toppo, we honestly don’t need anymore Super characters in the base game, especially the ones from the Tournament of Power arc (maybe the other two wolves will do). Much to my dismay, I get why the Universe 2 fighters are in the base game, but now enough is enough with Super (make the rest of the forgettable, fodder Tournament of Power characters DLC). Now it’s time for some characters from GT, OG, and the Z movies to get represented in the base game. You’re a big problem, Makai, if you want the base game to only be about Z and Super.
@@numbron803Super is the real garbage anime, not GT. That series shouldn’t be canon. It retcons the original manga with its characterizations and the end of Z. GT was a legit continuation that had traces of Toriyama’s former essence and passion from OG and Z, which he so has lost in Super by making it a safe show for casuals with no tension.
Most likely the closes characters we will get from the other universes are Lavender and Basil.
They were in Bergamo’s Ultimate and I noticed every character’s ultimates that involves a team attack are paired with characters who are playable in the roster.
Also I hope Ganoz is in this game as well.

I disagree about UI Goku & MUI Goku not having a another base form though. There's literally a slot still open right in front of UI Goku. Who else could possibly be in that spot? Not only that I'm certain the Kefla vs Goku fight is in the game. So him transforming into Sign from base makes sense.
Just like a majority want SBE Vegeta to be another variation rather than just a Boost like Kaioken.
But I will say it looks like you're right about Vegito 100% being only one variation. Both Super & Z combined so that's one variation to cross of the list.
Seeing Anilaza also has me curious how much TOP content is part of the game from Day 1.
The choice selection to reveal characters is still following suit with the themes so my guess Caba is part of some story trailer.

Like 80 percent of these reveals were one of three things
1, characters we've seen and knew were in already (Jiren, Trunks, Hercule)
2, forms for characters we already had confirmed and were really obvious to be in (Rose, Super Vegito, UI omen [admittedly UI omen is debatable on if he was obviously but considering xv2 I felt it was obvious])
3, characters related to an already confirmed characters in order to complete a trio, really obvious (Rosie and Ribrianne)
So that left us with
Spopovich (who was in that story screenshot)
Dabura (who people believe was in that story screenshot)
Yajirobe (no one's hype for him outside of ironic hype) [I do think he deserves to be here tho]
Anilaza (the only cool characters we couldn't have safely assumed would be added)
Worst trailer imo
(The character's I was most excited to see was Ribrianne and Rosie, knowing the full trio is there is nice, I'm one of the 3 Ribrianne fans in existence)

I can agree witha few of your points, but at the same time look it from a marketing stand point, why would you reveal your best cards early and be left with (arguably) mid characters until reveal, and if they got mid out ofnthe way, we wouldn't be as hype rn, thats why you come out swinging and then slowly turn the heat back up, revealing your top characters near the release, sprinkling in some good ones in the smaller trailers, like Vegito, Gogeta, Kefla and Gotenks' trailer.
As for stuff like the animations and voice lines, its important to know this game is still a good 3 months out, theres time for refinement, let em cook guys, we saw the demo and the gameplay reveals, theyre listening and working hard for us

I was kinda annoyed that Vegeto and Blacks in this trailer ngl i dont count ki as a sword cause if Trunks sleeps his sword doenst go away but if Vegeto sleeps his ki dissapates. Small nitpick but coulda had others in the spotlight. Tappion is RIGHT there with Hiridegarn being a fist AND giant fighter.

Makai wdym the animations didnt look very good? personally i think the animations are good only thing i didnt like was how the camera was just static while goku black rose was doing his attack it should have been more dynamic otherwise than that the animation itself is pretty good also i think the model is good but could be better his eyebrows need to be more pink and his eyes also his body and face is too yellow and the hair needs more texture.

happy with super vegito, dabura and goku omen, don’t care too much for the rest, rose goku black was already obvious. but come on Rosie and Kakunza was SUCH a waste man, and no way they’ll be annoying enough to put their base forms, Anilaza is fine he was one of the highlights from the tournament after all

Imo, this trailer was kinda lame. I like Roasie, Anilaza, and Jiren, but besides that, this was the weakest Trailer so far. It wasn't even like groan in dissapointment levels of lame, it was just calm. Didn't feel special since we already seen a lot of this. But honestly, I think Anilaza being in this game confirms Fat Janemba. Now that we know Giants aren't restricted to just Great Ape saiyan's, we can expect stuff like Hirudegarn, Fat Janemba, we could see Cell Max as DLC, and of course, I know this is a hot take, but Giant Bio Broly would be pretty cool if they give him an interesting moveset.
