When I was buying my VW Passat the dealer had me go over to pick it up of the lot, and the guy who drove me there had a 1995 Corolla. It looked pretty beat up. I asked him with all these cars around why he drove such a piece of junk. I will never forgive the look he gave me. Then he said this piece of junk has more life in it than 5 Passats. Yep! My Passat is somewhere in junk yard now , and he is still driving that old Corolla !

I would rather buy an old Corolla and drive it as long as possible than buy a brand new car with all the fancy electronics and lots of problems..Believe me, it's a better investment. Bcoz, the main purpose of a car is to take u from A to B, it has 4 wheels, an engine and metal caging 😅 . I've worked as a sales personal at a car dealership, to be honest I prefer these old corollas, even the old lancers or old nissan sentra. These Corollas are terrific. I bought a 98 Corolla for my daughter 6 yrs. ago when she got her license. She didn't think it was cool, so she went out an bought an Infiniti G35. So, I use the Corolla as my daily driver. It's the most reliable car in the house and I have a BMW 528i, Volvo S60 , and a Mitsubishi Outlander at home. But running around town, I still take the Corolla. It has about 200K miles and needs very little maintenance. Most of the parts are inexpensive and it's an easy car to work on.
