In my opinion, Legion should have came with an alternate head with a crazy look on his face since he is from Age Of Apocalypse and the son of Charles Xavier aka Professor X even though he is dead, But still, I got AOA Rogue and will get AOA Magneto as well, Thank you for the review as always Anthony.

This looks like P2 when you both pick paul lol.
They should've put the Carnage/Cassidy head on him with the hair mold on top. This head just doesn't capture his personality. I'd love to see you repaint this figure to show them how to do the shading.
Looks more Street Fighter than X-Men. Which is kinda cool.

I think the figure is a good one to own. I am unfamiliar with the character but he makes an excellent foil in a superhero fight.

Shading makes me think of acid wash jeans. Not realy a pro or con, just an observation. I'm a fan of these leg sculpt, I keep hoping for an immortal iron fist with them.
Head sculpts overall have a blandness to them. I assume it's for line consistency but it just makes them very uninteresting. I was reminded of the toy biz sandman sculpt recently and thst still works in the line but has so character and an artists touch that just doesn't exist now. The new doctor strange and toybiz anniversary figures look like they've got more of it at least
That shading makes him look like he's been sweating a lot, it's definitely ambitious but I really don't think it came out looking good..waay too heavy

Have no interest in the character, but I still got him for fodder. I already have plans for the head and as for the body- possibly used as inmate version of a villain.
This is the only x-men character that I have in my collection. I'm going to collect that new vhs animated style x-men and I think this figure will stand well with those.
The head, arms and feet are perfect for customs, IMO
I picked up an extra thinking exactly the same thing. One HUGE thing that I haven't seen enough credit given is that these shoulders hide the internal joint. That's a big step up for Hasbro. I do really like the new sculpt for the shirt, we've been needing a Tshirt sculpt. Having the neck on a separate piece of plastic looks great and will allow for better kitbashing and repainting. My gripe with this figure is that the arms/shoulders don't pop out. I really wanted to be able to remove the arms and swap them with new Mr Fantastic lab coat arms, and use these well sculpted bare arms and shoulders with no visible shoulder disc hinge on other figures. I've heated them up with a hair dryer but I just can't get them out. I may have to crack the torso, but haven't gotten around to doing that yet. So all in all, I still like it, just not as much as I was expecting to. Thanks for your review Anthony.
Body is perfect for some prisoners. Paint them orange with shading, pop on other heads, and instant loose prisoner army.

Unpopular opinion, 90 percent of legends are garbage, if you ever want to sell them you'll see how much they are truly worth
I agree with this. There's whole waves of ML where I don't buy a single figure. I'm so far into indie toy lines like Mythic Legions and Valaverse, that I hardly go toy hunting anymore.

Oooph! That shading is tough on the eyes, it's like he's been rolling around in a puddle. I don't get it, is it that hard to program an industrial airbrush computer/robot? (assuming that is how it's done). Some fading would improve it.
Not a huge fan of the face sculpt, they obviously went for the more heroic Legion instead of the lunatic that triggers the A.O.A. There is a resemblance to the ML Xavier facial sculpt, nice to see they did that.

In terms of the shading well its not a big deal for me. I think this is something subjective no judgment but overall I think it's okay. Maybe an extra head will make a big difference though 🤔
Think we need a custom headsculpt for this guy.....along with the Iceman one you mentioned! Really bugs me they played it safe and did go full crazy.

the weird paint on his clothes is to replicate his cover appearance in x factor #109. Shame they didnt do it on the entire figure tho
I think the shading isn't as noticeable under normal lighting. Hadn't even noticed it until after watching your review.
We need more paint but not badly applied.

They half assed the face sculpt, which sucks. If they'd put in the effort to make it look more like the box art I think that would have worked, but yeah, it just looks like he's awkwardly winking or something.

Idiotic shading & 2 facial expressions in 1 headsculpt...as a Legion fan I'm disappointed.
Personally, couldn't care less for this figure or character. The only thing I like is his stupid hair style cause it looks ridiculous.
