iCarsoft CR MAX - Smart ForTwo Diagnose & Repair ABS Rear sensor fault

I had an ABS error C1131 - Implausible value from right rear rpm sensor.
So i thought it would be a good time to test the CR MAX to help diagnose the cause.
As always it goes without saying. Safety first support with axle stands and jack.
additional tools needed to remove Wheel sensor
E8 torx socket
10mm spanner
I cleaned the wheel sensor as it had some magnet steel filings on it
hopefully it wont re appear.
otherwise i'll have to look at ABS sensor and or Reluctor ring.
In conclusion the iCarsoft is more than adequate for the ABS sensor diagnosis

So the fault reappeared and as seen in the video the reluctor ring was split. A new reluctor ring was purchased. Driveshaft removed from one side which may be easier to remove completely.
Jack and axle stands to support car,
Remove wheel.
Undo driveshaft bolt
Remove shocker plastic cover from bottom bolt.
Remove shocker bolt
This may be enough to remove the Driveshaft when lowering the horse shoe shape lower suspension frame.
If you decide to remove the driveshaft(tap Driveshaft out with Drift and hammer) you can use a chisel with car between gearbox and driveshaft in the correct place with thicker raise casting on gearbox, remember to capture gearbox oil and reuse.
I found the driveshaft awkward but managed on the car. Loosening the X frame bolts to allow movement.
Prepare and fit new reluctor ring - You may find it easier to preheat reluctor ring in the oven, I ended up using a grinder flap sand disk and using the old reluctor ring to tap the new one on so as not to damage the New reluctor ring.
