I’m not a cards fan but it seems like everyone has “New Toy syndrome”. Kyler was always solid, never perfect but a top 15 nfl qb with good upside. As a bears fan I want Marvin Harrison but if cards get him, man they can be scary offensively

It would be pretty interesting to see if the Cardinals could trade for Hasson Reddick. He was drafted by the Cardinals and they let him walk, but since Gannon is now the head coach there, I could see him coming back. Of course, that partially depends on if there's no bad blood with the organization.
Arizona after the Keim/Kliff regime felt so hopeless, everyone saying no one wants to go there. They charge players for meals, owner accused of racism, sexism and cheating. But the transition to the Monti/Gannon and the turn around and just the outpouring of people saying “I don’t think this team is going win a game” to “Hey they’re building something over there.” For the first time in forever it looks like it’s finally Arizona’s chance to become sustain winner.
i really doubt that bidwill will allow that to happen my guess we weill have a winning season in 2026 or 2027 and we will rebuild again the very next year. that's what the cardinals do we are the pittsburgh pirates of the NFL.
Garrett Williams was a very good corner for AZ when he came back from his ACL tear. He was a rookie and tore it in college. He transitioned very well
That's why I'm saying draft a CB in round 3 (Dwight McGlothern, Cam Hart, or Andru Philips) and pair him with Garrett Williams
Man if we get MHJ I would be so happy. It seems like Cooper Dejean is slipping so we could maybe draft him with the late first rounder. Signing Sneed or JJ while drafting another CB. Jalen Thompson was so good at safety for us and obviously Budda is still there. Bright future if we can hit on the draft picks! Hollywood being a 3rd option would be so good. Michael Wilson has so much promise too. We can be good quick if we hit on a pass rusher somewhere

Although Marvin Harrison Jr. would be fun to watch, I think the trade down scenario is the best for Arizona's future. Apart from the trade down to get Rome, a very interesting outcome would be the Bronco's trade back and asking for Pat Surtain II. Take Talese Fuaga at 12. Then Brian Thomas Jr or Keon Coleman at 27 (just any bigger body receiver). Then target DL in 2nd round (Trice, Jenkins or Darius Robinson if he falls). 3rd round targets: Brownlee Jr (CB), Bebe (IOL), Edgerin Cooper (LB)
FA: any big name defensive line
This would fill a ton of holes and make them competitive. Especially since it seems our identity offensively will be very much on the ground, I don't see the need for a MHJ to be successful but obviously he would be amazing if we could get him.
Nah, getting the best possible players is better than getting more draft picks. You don't pass up on a guy like MHJ for more picks. Any draft pick could be a bust but MHJ is basically guaranteed to be good.
Although your idea sounds great, Denver has basically no draft capital to move up from 12 to 4 (due to the 2022 Russ trade). Also Arizona already has so many draft picks this year (6 picks in the first 3 rounds), they should just stay put and select best player available at positions of need for each pick.

I had the cardinals reaching the NFC championship game and possibly reaching the Super Bowl in the 2024-2025 season. AFC pick is complicated, I have the jets sneaking out and barely making it to the Super Bowl under Arron Rodgers
okay guys, you won't see this, but i believe we trade down to (10,11,12) or whatever get an extra second round pick. Take Xavierre Legette at that pick, get an o linemen at the next pick. We should be able to get our defense with the two second rounders. Sure up our rb room with Braelon Allen in the fourth. Free agency we take Yetur Gross Matos and frankie luvu from the panthers and move pieces around. That's my thought

i dont think anyone is passing up on the top 3 QBs. they are all studs and have the potential to be top 5 Type QB's in the NFL.
All 3 are duel purpose who can pass for 4K and run for 500 yards. Daniels may have the highest ceiling. i though daniels was another justin fields or lamar jackson who couldnt pass. boy, was i wrong. he stands in the pocket and goes through reads. he rips backside digs like its nothing.
if my team, the Bears, traded down and took him, i wouldnt even complain.
the cards will have to "settle for" MH :)
P.S. i am very very scared of MH ability to separate at the next level just like all bigger WR's.

after watching daniels more there is no way the pats will pass on either him or drake. all 3 top QB's have top 5 talent. each could be easily be a 4500 passing and 500 rushing QB. thats basically herbert, mahomes, JA level.
its a QB driven league. no one knows this more than the pats. WR's dont really make a difference.
The pats went to 10 SBs' with a bunch of nobodies at WR, except 1 time when they had moss.
marvin is really overvalued by fans. teams dont value WR's like fans do.

I would love to see the Texans sign justin madubuike but he would also be a tremendous fit with Arizona as you stated.
AZ still has Hollywood (for now) and Michael Wilson who I think is a stud in the making. Kyler Murray throwing to MHJ/Nabors, McBride, and Wilson (and maybe Hollywood)? That's a potentially scary passing attack. Assuming they build up that D the way you recommend they'd be instant NFC West contenders. Super competitive for the next 3 years easy.

i want mhj but i already know that ossenfort will trade back and end up getting fleeced just like he did last year trading 3 overall and end up getting 27 overall this year. he has a real talent for making other teams better just not his own.

Draft MHJ with 4th pick. The Offensive Tackle depth in this draft is historic, so they can either take a tackle with the other 1st round pick or package picks to move up for a better prospect if they feel strongly about a guy. They have the most draft capital of any team in the NFL so they can really leverage. 6 picks in the top 105. There is a ton of value. For Defense, the Cardinals need help on all three levels. I agree they should plug holes in FA. The Pass Rush was non-existent in the second half. I think BJ is going to be a good player, but they need help on edge and interior of the D-Line. They just have a bunch of dudes right now. The back-end was very mediocre. They could also draft a CB or try in FA as well. I think this is going to be a much faster turn-around then people think, especially since most of the casual fans and even national media aren't paying attention.

None taken. Kyler has physical limitations that folks must accept. He's short and not very accurate. We can hope a good draft and further development will lift him up.

I never saw Kyler as a franchise QB until this year. Monti had me sold when he said we're not gonna just draft people who can play we're gonna build something. He so far living up to his word.

As a Cardinals fan im super excited for this upcoming season, and despite them having 4 wins last season, despite 2 games they were really competitive all the games they played for the players they had, I'm hoping we get MHJ, i have friends that are 49er fans and gave me crap, and i told them i hope they have that same energy next season, because they won't be the same team, and it now looks like the 49ers are starting to crack after that superbowl loss again

I think MHJ goes top 3 then Cards trade 4 to Broncos to draft Jayden Daniels then Cards draft Brian Thomas Jr and Cooper Dejean and have extra firsts and other extra picks next year

I don't agree with the rb pick in the draft. We have Connor for the power and micheal Carter for the speed. I think we go defense heavy draft in the 3rd round picks

Jaylon Johnson is not a free agent. He could get tagged which then he would still be under Bears control. If they trade him, not only does the team have to give something up for him they have to re-sign him.

I don’t think Jaylon Johnson would happen without a trade. Bears have more cap space and could still franchise tag Johnson so he wouldn’t just walk if he isn’t resigned.

Jaylon Johnson isn't hitting the FA market this year. The Bears will tag him. Johnson has already said he's okay with it, although he does want to work out an extension that tops the CB market.

It's incredibly dumb to say there is a very real possibility that the Cards are going to get Jaylon Johnson. The Bears currently have the 3rd most cap space and can franchise him if no long term deal is reached. The GM said that they aren't letting Johnson leave. Claiming it's realistic for Johnson to be available to the Cards is just straight up lying to your audience.
