  • Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) is defined as three consecutive pregnancy losses occurring prior to 20 weeks from the last menstrual period. It is a prevalent and agonising condition and reported in about 1% to 2% of pregnant women. Genetic causes account for about 2% to 5% of RPL.
With evolution of genetic research and testing in recent times we have newer insights into mechanisms causing RPL. This webinar will cover the genetic basis of RPL (chromosomal and single genes), provide evidence based approach for genetic evaluation and management of couples with RPL.
