We already made two videos about how the Clippers trading for James Harden wouldn't work, and then another video when it wasn't working. And while we were entirely prepared to continue our crusade... the Clippers are now the hottest team in the NBA

Very very strange...
The Clippers didn't need saving, they needed a healthy Kawhi playing b2bs.
They're a .500 team without him, any way you slice it. Even ~with~ James AND Russ playing next to PG, without Kawhi the team went 2-2 this season. Team goes 42-40 in '22 when he missed the entire year.
_I mean, you DO understand that Mr Leonard has the highest winning% in the reg and playoffs of any player in NBA history?_
^ don't get me wrong, Harden eases the load and adds tremendous depth to the halfcourt offense...but to act like The Clippers with a healthy Kawhi couldn't have beaten the Suns to get to the Finals in '21 is just foolish and ignores a lot.
Such as - _the bubble debacle was a sole exception that occured in a unique environment, and not a tendency of any kind._

I forgive you guys for the two previous clippers videos. At the time, they were perfectly rational. I'm a Clippers fan and I was down on them too. Very pleasantly surprised with how they've played since they started the season 3-7.
Props to Russ for being an All-NBA defender this year... lakers fans and media tried to convince everyone he was washed defensively but he's been making a great impact
Russ was by himself at the lakers bc Lebron and AD were never healthy. He was scapegoated for no reason at all
lol he was a terrible offball defender and this was known before he even joined the lakers but still good for him for improving his defense and using his strength but he's more defintiely washed in other things, Don't tell me you disagree when he is now playing off the bench and his minutes have gone down under 20

It is way too early to say Harden saved the Clippers. They have an unusually healthy Kwahi Leonard and Paul George. Even with Russell Westbrook the Clippers won a good stretch of games as long as those 3 were healthy and not load managing. At the end of the season and especially during the playoffs if KWAHI LEONARD AND/ OR PAUL GEORGE are out due to injury then the Clippers will go down like they did last year in the playoffs. Or go down in the playoffs seeding at the end of the year.
honestly the sixers trade was a rare win win. Glad to see harden succeed hopefully we’ll see a Philly Clippers finals

How did the sixers win? They didn’t replace harden. Only get 3 clippers role players that were hardly in the rotation and DNP. The picks aren’t great either because Steve baller will always go broke in the luxury tax to compete. No one wants clippers picks. Please explain

Also can't help but notice that KAWHI is more leaner with less muscle mass compared to last season. The less weight on his body can be helping his knees and thus he's less injury prone.

The criticism he faced in his first few games was just absurd for me. Like you can have bad game and get criticised and all, but it was just over the top and people were trying to act like he was finished and was never that good in the first place.
Which is just daft. This is James Harden; he is a regular season savant. Yes, he has his issues in the playoffs, but I'd argue that he's been the best and most impactful regular season player of the last 10 years. More than LeBron, more than Durant, more than Curry, Giannis, Jokic etc.
Because in the last 10 years (pretty much from his first MVP level season in Houston till now), you give James Harden anything resembling a functional team and he will guarantee you wins. That is undeniable.
So it's zero surprise that he's smashing it with the Clippers. This is just what he does.

As a die hard clipper fan and a fan of this channel I will say, I was dying laughing at those old videos bc I seen how our team just needed the correct lineups on the floor and time to mesh. I am a die hard rockets fan harden being my second favorite rocket behind the greatest center ever Hakeem the dream olajuwon I was mad at harden for quitting us but I am happy I would like to see him get a ring to go along with all his other achievements I just wish he could have done it with the rockets to be specific that year we had the warriors against the ropes ready for the knock out and then they shot 27 3 pointers in the second half and didn't make 1 I don't blame that team though I blame the coach all they had to do was in the second half the lead was so big take high percentage shots rebound and play d I know we were a really good 3 point shooting team but it was not dropping that night so take the 2 and pkay d and rebound we could have won that game well and also it did not help that cp3 got hurt in game 6 that really hurt us any way good luck to the clippers I hope you guys can do it that team has come close so many times

Some part of me believes that the Clippers still won't win the championship this year, I still believe that the best they can do this season is getting back to the WCF. With the security of Kawhi resigning and with James Harden following the same intent, that at least gives the Clippers front office some peace knowing that they can still sell tickets to fans who want to see the stars and not just because it's LA. If Paul George resigns in the off-season, then maybe they can win the championship next season.
