    Been worried about my front since mid summer. Thought it was engaged hit the gas and heard it slam engage. So now when I hear anything I wonder. Marmora mud 2 video I heard something in video but may just be the visco lock.

      Yes that ViscoLok can make some strange noises, unfortunately its non-serviceable.
      I do know the Can-Am shifter may need adjustment to ensure proper engagement

    Expensive fix, good video. I have to rebuild my front as well. How hard is it to get out? I’m limited lol

      It takes some work. Manual says to remove fuel tank in order to remove EPS unit...BUT you don’t need to go down that road

    Hey don great video, I have a 2009 850xp eps and my eps is not working do you know what I can do to fix it. Also my gas gauge does not mark on the cluster do u know any pottential fixes

    • @ADVENTURESThisWay
      @ADVENTURESThisWay  Před 3 lety

      Well sounds like some electrical issues, definitely get yourself a service manual. Proper diagnosis is key.
      The EPS is non serviceable so hopefully it’s just a connection issue.

    Unfortunate that happened to you! Poor sportsman!
    I have a kq 500 and it had a diff full of mud for one ride and then was flushed. Do you think that is enough to destroy the diff or just accelerate wear? The ride was like 20 miles ish.
    Keep the vids coming!

      Polaris life!
      Well contaminants and moving parts are not a good combo. As long as diff is well cleaned oit it shoild be ok. Several gear oil changes will let you know what is happening inside

      @gretchenmorfea5988 Před rokem

      @@ADVENTURESThisWay ok thanks. This was a couple months ago and I noticed it sounds like the diff is skipping a tooth in reverse when the bike is in a bind and bounces a bit. It can wheelie though with out clicks and doesn’t click other wise. I thought it was related to that but my dads kq does that exact same. Do other bikes do that too? Mine also clicks when I lock up the rear wheels to slide at speed. I know Polaris and my kawi do that as well but just to confirm, you notice it? Is it harmful?

      @@gretchenmorfea5988 hard to say, but metalic sounding noises generally aren't good. But if noise doesn't get any worse over time, might not be too bad.

    Dang! All that work for a $30 u-joint. Will you be posting the video of the rebuild?

    • @ADVENTURESThisWay
      @ADVENTURESThisWay  Před 3 lety

      Well 2 u-joints actually! I think the big thing is to inspect the pinion shaft (and bearing) regularly for play. Then replace before its a problem and switch to greaseable u-joints. I haven't done any thing with that front differential yet...might just replace bearings and seals and see what happens

    • @JM-po4hm
