Rest in Peace Don Sutton. I never knew you as a pitcher, but almost every night during the summer, your voice would come through my TV or radio. You will always be a Brave to me.
I know his voice better than my friend's. Loved Don Sutton.
Man, no kidding. I've really missed his voice.
AMEN Skip Caray and Don Sutton forever!!
i just watched this video for the first time in my life. tears are rolling down my face. wow, such an incredible speech. his level of erudition and gratitude is positively breathtaking. i am still in shock that he has now passed away, and at such a relatively young age. i hope his family can take some comfort knowing that they played such a central role in his remarkable life
yes, the greatest moment in the history of the world
I met Don in Pensacola, FL - great guy, awesome pitcher.
Nice
Congrats DS 20! You made the 70's great fun to watch my fave team the big Blue. Go Dodgers. Well deserved HOF.
Awesome speech Mr Sutton all of us fellow Taters are proud of you! Loved listening to you do Braves games with my Granny too!
Rest in Peace, Little D. Thanks for the many times you made this Dodgers fan so happy by pitching the Boys in Blue to a win. God bless.
If their were a Hall of Fame for poignant & articulate acceptance speeches, then Don Sutton's would have been a 1st ballot.
i am surprised that he wasn't inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot during the first year of his eligibility
Thank you Don for calling all the Braves games . Always liked to hear your stories and insight into the game.
Great, great player and human.
Outstanding job Don.
Ye
Some of the Dodgers came to my high school and played basketball. It was just a feel good bit of fun. Sutton sat next to me and my dad and talked with us for a long time. Just regular talk. My dad was really into stocks and gave him a little lecture. Sutton actually seemed interested. I was awed that he was a Dodger, but I never guessed he'd end up in the Hall.
The last player inducted wearing a Dodgers cap.
Soon Kershaw!
Thank -you - Don!
they should've kept him out based on the hair alone
Love him. Stupid hair lol.
He would want Barry Bonds to get inducted along side of him
