I know you're all confused... what about our other UP property? Yes, we still have it. We may sell it, maybe not. It has it's charms. But this piece is larger and offers MUCH more usable land and resources. Yes we still have our Alaska property. We like to park our money in land investments, and in places we love. Our kids are nearly out of the house, and this piece will be developed for year-round off grid life. Thank you for joining us on our journey with this new property! I'm soooooo excited! It has everything I could dream of in an off-grid property: level buildable land, a water resource, very remote and quiet, lots of signs of game. Can't wait to show you what we have planned! How in the world did I miss this video? OMG. It was so great, even in spite of the stupid camera. It was so much fun watching you guys from just checking out the property to putting in the bid, to getting it accepted and then exploring and doing an overnight. That bear den was a little frightening..that you almost walked right over it...
It is the over population of wolves in the upper peninsula that we are concerned with.Bears are just bears .if they would have stepped into it 99% sure no harm would have came to them. If the bear did happen to wake they dont just spring into action, they are very slow to awaken due to the slowing of their heart rate and metabolic state.

This is my first comment....to any video! I first started to watch Bushradical maybe about a year ago, then discovered this channel. I really like "hanging out" with you guys. You keep things simple, I like that. Yeah, I'm a simple guy. I'm almost 70 and still love to hike and I am thinking about doing some more camping soon. Still have a tent and all my gear. I saw your video about Wall Tents and may consider that or a Bell tent in the future. I currently live in Pensacola FL, but I may be moving back to western NC in the near future, miss the woods (waiting on the Lord, God willing). Lived outside Colorado Springs in a mountain area prior to NC. You guys are an inspiration and I feel like You're my friends. I agree!!! I was stationed on Kodiak Island in the U.S. Coast Guard during the mid 80's and I had a pair of the government issue canvas mukluks. They were the most comfortable shoes. We used to camp, hunt, and fish all winter long. My trusty mukluks were always with me!!!
