I am sure Sky Sports will do some mental gymnastics and blame Max for this as well. Poor Hadjar, he got fined 20 000 Euros for this, I hope Red Bulls helps him out with the fine. That is a lot for a teenager :) And good job Lando for avoiding a plane crash
Is it just me or do teams/engineers/pit bosses need to take more responsibility here? Why penalise the driver when it’s the engineer’s job to keep the driver informed of who they are coming up on or who’s behind. Same thing happened to Piastri recently and he got a 3 grid penalty that probably cost him the race. I think that F1 have this backwards. The drivers don’t have the telemetry on their steering wheel. I’m sure the same situations manifested themselves in the 1960’s & 70’s but everyone got on with life. The drivers know that what they do for a living is inherently dangerous but why penalise them in situations that they can’t foresee? F1 has become a nanny organisation.
Or only penalise the driver if they ignored the teams warning, otherwise yes it is the teams fault. The FIA could help here by mandating bigger usable mirrors on the cars! Also back in the 60s-70s, and 50s too, it was sort of self regulating as the expectation of both drivers dying in a fiery ball does rather change peoples attitudes and of course the cars were very narrow compared to today's cars.
I wonder why you chose especially that title for your video. I get the impression that after the Lando/Max incident, Red Bull cannot do anything right anymore according to (mostly) British race fans and media. Lando and Max are currently miles ahead of you after talking it out, but somehow the Red Bull bashing goes on. Just like the incident, not very sportsmanlike. Get over it!
Keep telling yourself that, there are F1 fans all over the world. And more to the point Red Bull have a lot of fans in the UK too. So blaming the British fans is just tosh. The media now that's another thing all together.
Nah...won't work, the driver in front would simply rest his foot just enough on the brake pedal to make the brake light come on. Clever, but we don't want that in any form of racing.
@@badboyvr4 Set it up so the brake lights only come on when a significant pressure is applied to the brake pedal that is well above lightly pushing on it.
To my fellow Mexicans, I urge you to pray fervently for our local hero, Checo, to at least reach Qualifying 2. He has been trailing the slowest cars on the grid for the last few races.
Indeed and has the worst engineer, creating chaos again!!!... Although FP2 looks promising, without getting data since RB decided Max's engineer be also Head Track Engineer is difficult to set up the car!!... He is almost driving blind... Never in the last 20 years a team has relied on a Head Track Engineer exclusively for 1 of its drivers... its insane!! But the narrative is lack of consistency on Checo's part... Drink that kool aid, right?
F1 is a joke handing out such stupid penalties for no good reason at all. With that said, did they even get penalized? Or did you do a clickbait like numerous dumb F1 channels out there?
😂😂😂 sure…and Stroll and Alonso? They had the same issue lol is AM shitting the bed too? 😂😂😂 or it it your RBR hate talking lol Oh and HADJAR drove pole in F2 just an hour later with 0.25 on P2 💪
The punishment should outweigh what the incident caused. Norris had to retire, so too should Verstappen, plus 20 seconds or a points reduction. Pussy-footing around like a fart in a thunderstorm is far too soft, lessons need to be learnt, not a tap on the head and "don't do it again" attitude.
We are mostly never told of the sneaky things Red Bull tries to get away with. It's apparently in their DNA to cheat. This has been the case for many years. While all teams occasionally bend the rules, no one else seems to be as consistent as RB.
Dude these things happen all the times in practice sessions. And this was a formula 2 rookie. Also what do you thing about the sharp pins sticking out of the front wingerd of the maclarens. No I am not against Norris not like hé has any influence on that. And I am a Norris fan. But would that not be real cheating. We have rookies see these mistales often and RB probably protected hik from gettjng licence points. Those also count in formula 2 and he is fighting for championship right now. Am disappointed with super rookie Antonelli and Bearman tho.

It is a team sport. The team is penalized
He wasn’t penalized. He was reprimanded. He should at least be looking in his mirrors. Red Bull got the financial penalty
The team gets the penalty, both AM and RBR. Not the drivers.

What a joke. Stroll got in the way of everyone in FP1 about 10 times but nothing said.

Not sure about merc. Lewis didn’t seem happy. Max set a fast time before the track rubbered in and had proper track temp….
I like your format, good videos, solid info
Is Max going to push overly hard in practice sessions. He's running out of engines.
Max is never pushing in FP. His engine settings are on low, in all FP’s, all 4 cars, RBR and VCARB

Max is always there come the qualifying.
