    That mud is hilariously slippery, especially with those tyres. Well done for giving it a real good go

    Great video mate. People don’t realise how capable these beasts are. The independent suspension give great clearance for ruts. Thanks for sharing

    Great video! Would you mind if I ask which wheels are you running? They look very sick and I'd love to get them for my D4. Thanks!

      @BushAdventuresAustralia  Před rokem +1

      The brand is performance superlite wheels but we have since gone back to the original land rover rims with bfg ko2.

    now I know more abt the capabilities my d4, no winch but chains on the rears would help, a lot

    • @BushAdventuresAustralia
      @BushAdventuresAustralia  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah your right its a very capable car but most people think its just a city run about.

    • @charliew8378
      @charliew8378 Před 3 lety +1

      It’s also super tyre dependant. If you have road tyres on there, you’re going to get significantly different results than if you had mud tyres, or even decent all terrains.

    • @BushAdventuresAustralia
      @BushAdventuresAustralia  Před 3 lety

      @@charliew8378 in that video we had Bf Goodrich kos but now we are running ko2s and they would have eaten thoes tracks like nothing.

    • @charliew8378
      @charliew8378 Před 3 lety +1

      @@BushAdventuresAustralia nice. We run Cooper AT3 4s, and sometimes the ATs just don’t do all that well in mud. Even a fairly small slippery rut can be hard to get out of once the tyres are in it. 😐

  • @what1864
    @what1864 Před 2 lety +2

    need some more aggressive [mud] tires for those situations ..

    Hola, buen video. Me dices cómo es la instalación del Winche !?

    • @BushAdventuresAustralia
      @BushAdventuresAustralia  Před 2 lety

      Yes i can its a hand winch that is not attached to the car we have yet to get an electric winch.

    In which mode are you what tires

    • @BushAdventuresAustralia
      @BushAdventuresAustralia  Před 7 měsíci

      I think the mode was Mud Ruts and tyres we had on back then BFG Kos but now it has BFG Ko2s

  • @The1979_
    @The1979_ Před 3 lety +2

    With those tyres no matter what your car is.. It’s nearly impossible to handle a muddy track. Well done Disco 4! What were the settings? I guess they are: DSC off, low gear with normal mode? If it is maybe you should’ve chosen low 2 with mud and ruts

    • @BushAdventuresAustralia
      @BushAdventuresAustralia  Před 3 lety

      Yeah your right we did use mud and ruts and that helped us but next time we will try low 2 thanks

    You need some mud tyres

    • @BushAdventuresAustralia
      @BushAdventuresAustralia  Před 3 lety

      That could be good but most of our driving is more rocky rather than mud but we do just fine in mud anway.
